Trash! 5 hours for a full charge. I'm in TX now dealing with aftermath of Beryl. In my emergency, I used it when I was down to 26% it raised it to 34%. Never any higher. I had it plug in trying to text....no bueno! As I texed my battery was going down quickly with it attached. Down to 24% in a matter of a few mins. Batterix was empty! Said charging but battery indicator showed othewise. $16 too high a price for just a size difference. I Will not purchase again. Thanks for your video, thought I had done something wrong. Used correctly. I can only imagine making a 911 rescue call..and then no signal. 😢

@@Jazzmosaic that was my exact experience! Going down while plugged in. I recommend goal zero solar chargers or ankers pre charged and ready to go

If it was me... throw a solar panel and several rechargeable power packs into your bag and never worry again. I tell people that cell towers can not last forever on no power. Been in many situations where the cell tower dies after 1 day of no electric.

Yes sir, I highly recommend the anker or goal zero solar chargers 💯

@@EDCExplained this battery has a rating of 1,600 mA. This will only charge my Samsung phone from 0% to 30%.

@@anthonyrossetti1 im worried less about the capacity and mire about power delivery. My phone was drawing power at a rate higher than the battery could deliver. In stand by mode.

Nice review. If it's a last resort sort of thing, than I guess it's justified. I agree they should focus on the survival aspect of it like you said, it's kind of unpractical to use and throw out every time you charge your phone. I would get one just to keep in my wallet for an emergency situation but not for everyday use.

That’s what got me. The use and discard nature of it. I appreciate you giving me a view my friend. 🙏

No added benefits if they don’t work.

They last 8 years though. Only upside.

Allegedly. As the company has not been around for 8 years there are only claims and not verifiable proof. Even then idc how long they last if they cant charge more energy than my phone consumes.

@@EDCExplained yeah exactly. I personally wouldn’t buy this.

@EDCExplained I don't think they're meant to charge your phone enough to play a game or to start recording video. It'll give just enough charge to make a final phone call and maybe let someone know you're safe, but you're in need of help and give them your location. I have a big Anker USB charging pack that claims I can get 1.5 charges on my MacBook Pro out of it. I tested it out on a plane a few years ago. It was able to keep my MBP alive for about an hour or two, but the battery level was slowly dying the entire time. My point being, things aren't always as advertised. Maybe my Anker and the Battarix work as advertised under very specific specifications, like closing down all apps, lowering brightness, wifi turned off, things like that. I'm not saying that's certain but it's a hunch. Great video and review BTW. 👍👍😁😁

@@SkylineTTurbo You are correct, I would have to agree. Airplane mode and powered off with the battarix to get any kind of viable charge, even to make a single call lol

Haha, what survival aspect? Looks like snake oil to me.
Thanks for the review, I’ll save my money!
