I know it may look a little silly but I do really enjoy these kinds of movies. They take you through all the emotions and they have a nostalgic feel to them. I’m here for it.
@@robertgriffith9703 It's a great thing imo if the quality is actually near those films (Mostly Groundhog Day) which I doubt but it looks like a solid enough movie if you're a fan of time traveling/loop movies.
Let me guess. They parents split up NO MATTER WHAT and the kids just have to learn and be okay with the fact that "sometimes people just fall out of love" ....
Abd to learn even if they’re divorced they’ll always be their parents I mean it could end like that but we didn’t see the whole movie in one trailer. The parents don’t look like they found out about the clock
if its what @pahbert says then it makes a lame AF movie, if its what @StevenLong says then its a toxic message to children of divorce who already blame themselves for their parents divorce... cant really win with this movie
Because it's a real issue, and not every family handles that trauma the "right way." I won't be watching this, but it's not a bad thing to have movies with a positive message about common traumas. I think they tend to have more positive effects than negative.
1:21 Gee, a comedy movie with heart where a guitar-playing kid who skates goes back in time and tries to get his parents together. Great scott. This is heavy.
The fact that the kids are the ones mature enough to keep trying to keep their family together, blows my mind. Nowadays parents are just too lazy to do their best for their marriages, kids are suffering the consequences of the bad choices their parents make. I know that couples split and kids have to move on but we cannot normalize divorce.
Yes, we can. Marriage is not a prison and everyone should be able to get out of it if it doesn't work anymore. And no, children in the story are not mature, they are just selfish. Mature behaviour would be to accept their parents' decision.
Life is way too short to stay in a miserable marriage. People like you want to force this idea on the kids and they grow up thinking they have to just « suck it up ». THAT ‘s what creates trauma. Two happy divorced parents is better that two miserable married ones just for the sake of « keeping the family together ».
I personally probably would have preferred my parents getting divorced. Blended families are messy & have their own complications, but I for sure did not benefit from seeing my mother continually enduring emotional abuse.
Most probably the target audience for this, should preferably have had these, uhm 'traumatic' experience of being 'broken' because, it didn't make me laugh, or chuckle as a *comedy.* But, I hope it's light, and ends well for family!
this looks like one of those movies that would have come out in the 80s or 90s you know, kids discover a magical item that changes their world, and they use it to try to save the day and learn the value of family in the process, while comedic schenanigans ensue? dont tell me you havent heard of that before
It's cathartic for families who have gone through it, and inspires gratitude in families who haven't. As long as they don't mind thoroughly unoriginal movies.
Man, I know the trailer is played up for laughs but the premise is pretty sad - not necessarily the seperation but that the kids are fighting so hard to stop it.
I’m sure any kid wants to turn back time to keep their parents from divorceing to not face reality I like story because it’s reliable not sure on the title tho y? because the present sucks in general lol but the future is always brighter given the good circumstances that come with the future 🙌
This is a terrible message - who doesn't realize that children always blame themselves if the parents split - feeling like it was somehow their fault. What idiot greenlit this movie. How could the adult actors accept these roles.
Life after death? God loves the world, He gave His Son Jesus whoever believes will not die but have everlasting life. John3:16 Jesus died for you believe & repent.

"Nostalgic" is a more positive assessment than "derivative." I wish I had your outlook. Bless you.
On the one hand, I agree. But on the other hand, what about free will?
It’s like Groundhog Day meets The Parent Trap
Meets about time
But is that a Good Thing?😕
and meets Jumanji
@@robertgriffith9703 It's a great thing imo if the quality is actually near those films (Mostly Groundhog Day) which I doubt but it looks like a solid enough movie if you're a fan of time traveling/loop movies.
No "meets." It's BACK TO THE FUTURE.

no. It makes things worse, the situation escalates out of control and Dad kills the entire family.
Lol @@roberts5539
I mean that seems a better ending than one where kids learn if they just do the right things their parents won't get divorced
if its what @pahbert says then it makes a lame AF movie, if its what @StevenLong says then its a toxic message to children of divorce who already blame themselves for their parents divorce... cant really win with this movie
Yikes, why would we watch a movie about kids deep in their trauma of assuming they are responsible for their parents
Because it's a real issue, and not every family handles that trauma the "right way." I won't be watching this, but it's not a bad thing to have movies with a positive message about common traumas. I think they tend to have more positive effects than negative.
man Isla is a goddess she's painfully gorgeous 1 of my all time celeb crushes she never ages
Wedding Crashers (she was awesome as Gloria!) & Now You See Me 1 comes to mind.
@@thelonewolf7443 Wedding Daze was always a personal fav she did with Jason Biggs and Keeping Up With the Joneses was the 1 that got me into her
Same. I first knew her from Definitely Maybe and she and ryan reynolds are such a great duo.
I’ll watch for Isla and Greg that’s it.
I wonder if that gets you a discount.
1:21 Gee, a comedy movie with heart where a guitar-playing kid who skates goes back in time and tries to get his parents together. Great scott. This is heavy.
Haha, Hollywood wasn't going to let Zemeckis stop them from re-doing it.
the decision to separate doesn't happen in a day, kids
The end, the parents still get divorced and the kids mature and accept it.
This looks really sweet.
This is a Goosebumps episode
This looks fun!
Soooo it’s a tragedy? Marriage isn’t perfect, that’s the point. Gotta be comfortable with being uncomfortable sometimes.
Never heard of it. Didn't come to my town. But looks like a positive feel good movie worth watching. We don't see enough of those anymore.
As hard as it is to pull off, I deeply hope this is a good time travel movie!
This looks touching and funny
I’d see it
Wait so Isla was making this movie while going through her own divorce? 😮
Didn’t Brad Pitt make 2 divorce movies when he was splitting with Angela ?
Shayyy Rudolph ❤❤❤❤
so Greg Kinnear escaped from Shining Vale?
I thought this about movie horror, but then it's family movie 🤣🤣
*The Edge of Separation.*
Please let the ending be about the parents staying married and in love.
God,....I couldn't even watch the whole trailer.
I see like 2 or 3 different movie concepts here, but I'll watch it.
❤❤❤ definitely a family movie to watch
480p trailer? where is 4K
Spoilers:
They don't split up. Or at least not by the end of the movie.
Just here for Ryan ngl
not sure they can make this work but Greg Kinnear can still get it

Was she making this movie as her marriage with Sacha Baren Cohen was falling apart?
Was interested till they said how "beautiful" their Mom was and how much of a "Dad" their Dad was.
Cool can’t wait to watch. The plot looks good
That's gonna be awesome.
Sadly, we know how it's going to end.

Good trailer 3 star vs good movie 3 star 😮😮
It's like they need to constantly keep remaking old movies, because the studio's are incompetent, lazy and greedy.
The million dollars would definitely have split the parents up.
Another time travel film?? Really need a ten year moratorium on this theme. What was a glut is now edging toward pathological.
I wonder if Isla was already divorcing Sasha when she began this project? Is it for their kids?
An insightful question.
Who's the audience for this ? It's like a family film, except it brings up a topic families really don't want to think about.
It's cathartic for families who have gone through it, and inspires gratitude in families who haven't. As long as they don't mind thoroughly unoriginal movies.

Looks like a new version of the movie Click
Yeah CLICK is not where that story template started.
I love you Ryan Guzman :I
When you order „Back to the future“ at Wish…
This is gonna bring up some major Traumata in all of us…. But looks nice! I’ll watch the movie!

Rich family goes through something. Get rid of Hollywood.
I recommend THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS, Tegan. The movie or the actual concept.
What do you want? Jesus movies?
Probabilities.
Ha, the FBI just walks into a house. Okay
Sucks she wont be in now you see it 3
Oh Isla. Isla, Isla, Isla. No Oscar for You again My Dear.
Past, Present & Future or PPF. The present is called the present because everyday is a gift.
No offense to Greg but the age difference is too much…
Is 13 years too much of a age gap?

Parents have to learn to stay together...That's God's Law....Deal with it.
This looks so cute

but the whole time they are breaking up because of the kids. as it's all the kids fault.
Let me guess Mom is perfect, but dad is the one that sucks and it's all his fault.
I've just seen the Late Bloomers trailer. There seems to be a lot of new movies featuring non-American ginger-haired girls putting on an accent!
Medioker
Jumanji rip off
Boring
Ah the land of pain, suffering, delusions and failed dreams send us yet another silly movie.
