It is the history that made me fall for Saab, and owning a 9-3 made me feel part of Saab. Especially since owning a Gripen would be a challenge for my commute to work.
@@campaignseries4867 If you work for SAAB in Linköping, it's absolutely no challenge, since you may use their 11/29 runway at ESSL (provided you can afford landing fees and jet fuel 😁).

We Saab fans help spread the Saab spirit all over the globe and will continue to do so as long there are Saabs out there. And Saab could really make a car again or a military vehicle! You already have the brand and there is certainly a need for it! A vehicle you could use as a platform for use of the many Saab technologies.

Sad to hear except cars. I love my saab and i want people to know that you can do your absolute best. Your engineering skills are incredible and with the more and more development you have potetial to make an affordable and family friendly car that has an engine with extreme power and immaculate design.
I'm thankfull that SAAB gave the world a different perspective on the automotive vehicle. Im also saddened by the bankruptcy of the Saab Automobile company. Would be filled with glee if it ever saw the light of day again. But, althougth this may not be shared to the right people at SAAB Technologies: Thank you for giving me something that I and others adore and love, SAAB!
Man, SAAB autos, I miss so much.... I know SAAB for long years (I work in army) but I swear for me one of the best brand was SAAB Automobile, it miss me so much.... Still have one in house !

Got my hopes up as a Saab enthusiast.
My uncle owned 2 Saab 900 turbo s, one convertible and the other a coupe with spg body kit. I was about 12 years old when I seen the key in the centre and felt the speed on the guest it was a great feeling

And why was this video filmed? Remind yourself?
It would be possible to make a much more interesting and memorable video,
if only to show imagination and eccentricity, characteristic
for the SAAB brand (at least for those times when it was engaged in
car manufacturing).
With such videos, you are unlikely to increase recognition or
brand loyalty :) But creating such videos
(everything except cars), you look like cynical and soulless people,
no less than the guys from GM who buried SAAB (your former automobile division).

I have been driving SAAB cars every day for over thirty years.

And yes, you cared about the safety of people when you released
one of the safest cars to this day.

As a Saab owner since 1982, I was pointed to this video. Reading through the comments I would say +1 for your comment!
This is a lousy YT vid from Saab. Is it an ad for (former) Saab owners? Is it an ad for potential weapon buyers? I can't make sense of this. Saab has other branches as well; the peaceful products like airport and harbor radar systems.
The owner of the Cabrio is portrayed as an old man, who doesn't know that his brand is gone down. He asks for an inspection but when driving, his g/box had a problem. It would have been better if the video had emphasised the dash gauges and the interstellar mileage. And then the question for a simple inspection!
The viewer/current Saab owner is taught by this video that he/she is no longer 'in the picture' and is shown to the door, empty-handed. I'd hoped to see the revival of parts (like Mercedes, Porsche and BMW do). And the viewer/current Saab owner is regarded to be dumb as well: the man drives a 900 classic, and the keys on the counter are from a Saab 9000...

I am twentytwo years old, and I recently bought my first car. A saab 9-3 1.9 TID. I wanted a car that would make me feel unique. Soon after, however, some people would say to me: 'but it failed as you will do with the pieces, it's old blah blah' I was very bitter. Until last week. I was at the car wash. A girl my age approaches me and asks me what car it was. I answer a saab. And he makes me she's gorgeous! There should be more cars like this. Now I understand what it's like to own a saab. Sorry for my bad English
So we’ve been making killing machines instead of cars
I own a saab now. Used to own a wagon. Most fun and fastest car. Stickshift so cool. My husband thanks me for getting one, he LOVES driving it. The seats so comfortable. The night screen wonderful. Brights BRIGHT. I wish they'd just get back in the car scene! Wtheck?

Really sad, my 900 was designed to save lives not take them.
So how about a Batmobile fashioned on the Saab gripen, with a 2L 9-5 engine, but the turbo is a F414-GE-39E turbofan?

And now the time to fix that has come. A car that has been designed by Saab engineers and inherits the Saab spirit is sitting in the old Saab factory, waiting. Waiting for someone to stick their badge on it. A revolutionary and capable electric car. Saab owns the right to the name Saab automobile, it was taken back after the 2011 disaster.

Yes, they own former Kockums. I have been to their facilities in Linking and Östersund helping them with production equipment. Very competent company.

Why is the title in Deutsche, and the whole video too? I had a 900S, a 9-3 viggen, and a 1984 900 turbo spg. They were all absolute fun, though they did need somewhat more maintenance than other cars I've had, but were still above average. I would happily buy another saab hatch or wagon should they ever return.

i have owned years ago (15y+) 4x 900; 1x 9000 turbo 89¬; 1x 9-5 1x 9000 96' and now 9-3 aero xwd 2.8 :) traditions.. but could be good to have support in tense of parts production at least :(

Licensing the SAAB brand to Stellantis might be the way to go...
No because look at the issues that occured with GM. Parts were lower quality (paint chipping, less innovative) compared to the OG 9-3/9-5 and 900/9000s. Selling the liscence to a car company that's interested in making money rather than making excellent cars would take away the thing that everybody loves about Saab. I think if they were to make cars again it would be them doing it not some company with the saab name.
