Alright guys on todays video I FINALLY fix my loose shift linkage..... sort of. lol
Instead of buying an entire shift linkage and stabilizing shaft from eBay for $150-$200, I decided to go another route for about half that price. The EG Hatch has really been in need of this repair because for the entire time I've owned it......it's been like this. Well not anymore!!

2:42 My Honda manual for my CRX says an 8mm Pin Punch will work to remove the Bitch Pin.

It doesn't look like you tightened down the allen bolts broski.. That would explain why there is still so much play. You should check out the Detent Spring Kit from speedfactory and the Shifter Spring they make. Its a really nice upgrade for the D series transmissions. It makes the shifter feel solid af compared to stock

The second gear is the syncro, you need to rebuild it

Ive bought same link kit hoping this would work, had to make all my own bushings and build both pivit joints at the trans end. Shifted hard from beginning but soon as winter hit it became harder and harder to get into 1st and 2nd. Keep in mind no gears grind just cant get them in. Im convinced creating your own setup using this adaptor is not ideal and like seen if this video alignment is off right away as the block connection isnt offset like the oem round knuckle. Dont waste your time and buya new OEM complete linkage or a used one that isn't whooped/loose.

Bro you’re supposed to tighten the allen bolts so it clamps down on the transmissions side of the shifter lol
Also change the plastic ball bushing in the shifter with a new oem one

Looks like the 2 bushing they gave you goes on the other part of that knuckle.

Daaaaamnn… i didnt even think of that!😅 The website didn’t mention it and I totally overlooked it but you might be right. I just dont know if the bigger bushing would clear the fitting… but it mighta been worth a shot.. oh well 😔👍

My “bitch pin” came out so easily with 6 moderate taps with hammer and pin punch.
