Hello Paisteboy, thank you for this video. But after changing the filter with a Whirlpool compatible filter which I've done in the past, I reset the filter but the lock/unlock light is on and water won't dispense. What did I do wrong?
Try holding the lock button for 3 seconds and see if that unlocks it.
Not so much a question about calibrating what counts as 8oz, but any idea how to change the default from 8oz to something else? I know I could mess with the calibration so that 8oz really is higher, but I want the calibration to be accurate, I just want to auto fill in more than 8oz increments.
Not that I'm aware of.
You hear that clunk clunk when the water turns off. Do you find that sounds really violent? I'm happy to know it's not just my fridge but I wasn't sure if there some way to correct that.

If you are doing something that has worked in the past and is not working now you may need a service call.
Is there a way to increase the speed of the water being dispensed? It takes a looong time to fill a glass of water.
Not that I'm aware of. It shouldn't be too slow though.

You may need to change your water filter.

My dispenser showed only 1 cup when filling on the first go, what do I do now. Did not work.
It should display ounces and allow you to adjust the amount up or down.
I am unable to get my whirlpool to dispense any water. What should I do?
If you just connected it, check to see that the water line is not kinked and is connected properly.

Water won't dispense
Sounds like you need a repair man. If you still have the manual try the troubleshooting section if you haven't already. I haven't had any issues with my unit so I can't help you with your issue.
