Narcissism is running rampant in todays society....odd....who would have thought teaching people that nothing matters other than personal gratification would give us such an unseen consequence....

no just the accusation of narcissism because everyone thinks that anytime a man shows assertiveness or doesnt grovel to a woman like they are all goddess' that they are narcissists. this is primarily the fault of everyone thinking they got a PhD in Psychology from the University of RUclips.

@@andrewjoyner4133 and with it only being a 3.5 minute clip (window) into their marriage... literally at the end of it mind you... not a single person can say whether Hillary was a bitch or not during their marriage or if she pulled her weight in the relationship. she after all leaked the clip to obviously put crowder into a negative light to as many people as possible against court agreements. this is why it pays to wait for more verified information, rather than just just following the horde. even if you do not like Crowder for whatever reason. innocent until proven guilty. the clip was edited btw, theres a clip floating around youtube that mentions another man and also him wanting her to go grocery shopping and pick up dogs meds... not give dogs meds. im pretty sure she can handle a package. but she refused cuz she wanted to go somewhere else and would be back when she got back... so some unknown place with their vehicle without grocery shopping or even picking up meds for dogs leaving crowder who is VERY WELL KNOWN in the political sphere to be stuck at home unable to go do the things she refuses to do since she wont take an uber which would be safer for her because literally no one knew who she was or what she looked like till the video leaked... where as crowder is very easily recognizable and taking something like an uber could be dangerous with how unhinged the leftists are these days.

I followed Crowder on and off for about 12 years. I stopped regularly watching him a while ago because I had interactions with narcissists and saw that behavior mirrored in him (plus the quality of his show went downhill). I'm not at all surprised by him acting the way he did in the clip, but I'm disheartened by how many people are defending his behavior and saying there's nothing wrong with it.

Kimi thank you so much for speaking on this. Watching the video for me was all the subtle mind games my narcissistic x would play under the guise of “caring about the relationship”. I couldn’t understand why others couldn’t see how toxic this video is and the behavior in it- then I realized I only do because I’ve been through narcissistic abuse. That is the worst situation I’ve ever experienced. Nothing is ever good enough and all you wanna do is make it good with this person. I never watched his stuff because I didn’t like his content but republicans should call out this behavior as unacceptable.

I never subscribed to Crowder, something just seemed off, like there was a false artifice. So this doesn't surprise me. As someone who escaped a narcissistic boyfriend, Crowder's words, tone, subject matter, and actions in the video are very similar to my ex's in the final weeks of our relationship. My heart goes out to Hillary and her twins. If a woman leaves her husband with two newborns, you know it's serious. But I'm also glad this is coming to light and Crowder may be in serious trouble for it. We may serve a God of love and forgiveness, but we also serve a God of justice, who hears the cries of widows and orphans, and does not let anyone get away with anything in the end. No matter how "charismatic" they are.

Thanks so much. I have been struggling as a Christian with how to get out of enmeshment with my mother. I feel guilty and as if I am not honoring her if I differentiate as a human being and not care about what she says to me. She has a negative cloud over her and I get so affected and moody around her. I have to realise it is not her, but her demons that I am deciding to get away from.

You know, I've watched Steven Crowder for years. I liked his show, for the most part...but there were some things he'd say that just never sat right with me. Especially things about women and their bodies and their roles with men, it's really apparent in some of his older content. I thought maybe his views had changed a bit and he'd developed a bit more respect for women , but i guess not
.all of that being said, when he announced their divorce, i wasn't really surprised tbh. My first thought was if she divorced him bc of the stuff id observed.....the video came out and confirmed my suspicion and more..

@Kimi Katiti I am a therapist who has expertise in narcissistic and emotional abuse/control. You did a good job explaining the subtle mind control process. I agree it works like a cult or evil intentions in which the perpetrator wants to in a sense have power over your mind, in effect take your soul. My own experience with coming under the influence of that darkness is what brought me to my knees and God.

I will be interested to see his video. as I have ran from a narc. husband after less than a year married. it will be interesting to compare it to my personal terrifying experiences. yes I have been in counseling for almost a year. after my husband announced to me "all of us AAs are narcissists." I also was baptized on our wedding anniversary. anything to not continue the life I had tripped into. I wanted a radical redirection to my life. and only good has come sense. thank you.

His behavior toward his wife really does not surprise me. It seemed overt to me, how controlling he was in general. The way he is with other things probably crosses over to the people involved in his life. Pretty gross. Also, then to profess Christian values and morals and behave that way is not consistent at all, but I find that to be the case with many people. If you’ve ever watched his show you can see everyone around him is on edge and they basically have to laugh at every “joke” he says also. I was never into his show so much because the humor and essence of it seemed very childish to me. I did support the messages and side he was on overall, but I could see something was off there, and again it just wasn’t my thing since it seemed sort of immature. He does come off very narcissistic. I’m probably scattery in my articulation of all this rn but anyway have a nice day :)

Really disappointed with people lacking basic reasoning skills on this topic. People seem to have the memory of a goldfish. Remember when that evidence came out about Johnny Depp that seemed very damning against him? Remember how the court preceedings went and how context and his side of the story changed completely?
As a Christian, you nor anyone else should be bearing false witness against thy neighbor. Especially with how all the me too movement worked out as well. It seems people haven't learned to wait for judgement and wait for ALL sides and context to be given.
People are also projecting their unfortunate past situations and using towards the Crowder situation to come to a conclusion that he's a "monster."
No one has a clue on what their total relationship is and was on a day to day basis. Especially based off one 3 minute clip.
The most obvious take, IMO, is to wait it out before you cast your stones at either person. People are way too quick to judge. This is disheartening.

@QwentyJ Damning how?? Lol it was an argument, and don't forget his entire career is arguments with people. Maybe he's just an annoying person to argue with in a relationship? Does the video show any other context to the argument or their relationship? There is no physical abuse, so what exactly is so damning? I like Kimi but to go down an entire tangent about "narcissism" from a short video is too much.

    • @DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro

@@WeToddEd-r3g it’s not. A video of a man in his natural state of normal life showing how comfortable he is berating his pregnant wife is very damning. He told his _pregnant wife_ to get an _uber_ to get his groceries so he could go to the gym. That alone is terrible enough, because it puts her in potential danger for no reason but his own convenience. He chose to get an elective surgery to fix an insecurity of his while his wife was late into carrying twins, which is incredibly selfish. He demands she walk his massive dogs all by herself-what would happen if they got out of hand? She wouldn’t be able to catch them. He’s sitting on his duff, smoking a cigar, planning to go to the gym, and lecturing her for not being a “wifey” because she can’t slave over him while that pregnant. I get that it’s very disappointing to hear all of this about a man who has done a lot for conservatism online, but this man is no hero. We need to be able to condemn terrible actions in anyone, left or right. Tribalism gets us nowhere.

    • @WeToddEd-r3g
      @WeToddEd-r3g Год назад +1

@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro "Natural state of normal life?" Someone being clearly upset and angry about something isn't a natural state of life. "Comfortable berating his pregnant wife, " how do you know he was comfortable? Clearly he was upset, and from the sounds of it, it's been a rough two years for them, so how do you know this three minutes is an accurate representation of their relationship?? People are human and make mistakes and act wrong, but do you know if he maybe recognized that and apologized after at all??
Look I'm not defending crowder nor am I that much a fan with him to begin with, but people are way blowing out of proportion a three minute video of him being mad. And even for Kimi to make a whole video about him being narcissistic is a bit much. You know as conservatives and Christians, people should wait till more evidence comes out, they should try to be more understanding knowing that a three minute video doesn't at all represent the last two years of their divorce and all the years of their marriage. All this video shows is Crowder in an argument with his ex wife. And yeah maybe he was being childish and maybe he's wrong. But to call him narcissistic and turn on him when he's cleary going through a lot is shallow and also wrong.
