I’ve Tried Dota 1 Shadow Shaman in Dota 2, and It Works!

- I used to play mid Shadow Shaman back in Dota 1! Then I switched to Dota 2 and almost everyone was playing shadow shaman as a support hero! After many years I decided to play mid shadow shaman again! It was so fun to play and still, it works!
😎 Who am I?
I'm Holy E, a Dota 2 player with 16 years of experience!!! but NOT a pro player!😁. I've started with Dota 1 (6.43 patch) and I've seen lots of builds, gameplays, and a mindset of playing Dota!

im a newer player, less than 100 games, and i have to slow the video down to .25 and rewatch it twice to notice wtf was happening. then i realized Holy E is just legit smart af in this game.
I think this is the first time in a long while that the video didn't involve an Ethereal Blade. I almost got worried for a second. Is it really a Holy E video without an Eblade?

Rhasta is a very good mid lane hero, he can take advantage of the quick lvl 6 and gank/push like a mf. It was very common to see this back in dota "1"

Shaman mid was great but in this game u had something that maked the game more fun (chen's 1st ability)
lol ? why need chen ? shaman mid with travel and dagger can solo kill almost hero(hard to kill pa talent miss/ cant kill enchantress, all tank can perma disable with OC), dont need chen for enemy know your move. In team fight have many support can bring more advantage than chen Q
@@Toki2604 at 4:52 you can see how Chen saved Shaman's life by stunning Morphling. So Chen isn't useless in this game. Maybe his Q button didn't do a lot of useful stuff, but W did.
This really inspired me to give core rasta a try, Im new to dota 2 and its good to see that this hero can flex just like how I saw previously winter wyvern flex to mid. It works for some characters. I appreciate the video.

Rhasta is the perfect hero for the aeon-refresher bait strategy. If I played Shaman and get to those 2 items, victory will be almost always guaranteed

Man you play really good. You were good throughout the game... The positioning of the hero would be a bit wrong at times but the awareness over all is just amazing... You would play good alot of heroes... No doubt..

I remember a friend who owned with mid Shaman in Dota 1. Dagger, Euls, Refresher, Necro, Dagon, and any item that increases mana pool and mana regen. Dude looks like he's playing the piano.

You can also early rosh as shaman, get your ult, get help from one support and rosh is done quickly. This build works better when finishing the game early, especially with chen on your lineup
They changed that in the last patch
@@eejay6191 yes but they do the same damage just need someone to tank/kite rosh
in my soloques after 3000 games i can still count with one hand the games i had chen in my team.

Your hero, being an intelligent based hero, that became a complete tanking chad at the end, was what made this match epic af. Never would I ever imagined that Shaman would be able to go and take Slardar head on, and actually win the battle while several other heroes are trying to gank you, and walk out literally with more than a half of life left, you're truly the true OG of Dota.

They didn't "get you at the start of fights", you just didn't look at minimap walked in and fed.

Rhasta is a strong hero. He is good in early, mid and heck even late game with proper item. Rhasta is more suitable for aggressive gameplay or a reckless core. You can see it on the last clip of this video.
