@@gabrielferrari7909 He had 7 years of piano experience and on the top of that a perfect pitch which helped him doing improved accompaniment with ease, so I think that was well within his capability if he wanted. That said, the concerto is long, maybe he feels more comfortable doing a live stream that long on violin.
I love this! Not necessarily the hardest arrangement, but obviously one of the best ones. Such orchestral feel. I like the pianist's interpretation as well. It's slower paced but feels fitting. What a character for this piece.
I like how comfortably paced your playing is, very enjoyable! I always wanted to study violin just to play this Concerto but now I realize it sounds really nice in piano as well :)
Absolutely wonderful! As a violinist and pianist I always adore when my favorite pieces for one instrument are arranged for the other. This is no exception. It was well arranged, well performed, and invigorating. Fantastic job!
I was trying to start a project to write a transcription for this concerto after having completed Sibelius' violin concerto. It is hard to beat this transcription! It is beautiful, and I feel like I don't have to transcribe at all! Beautiful transcription and beautiful interpretation. The piano sounds so great
Well, the transcription followed the violin part very well and, while the left hand did a good job of supporting the melodies like an orchestra does, the right hand had poor intonation compared to a violin and sounded way too thin for a piano. In other words, the violin part relies on the richness and dexterity of the violin and that does not translate well to a piano (IMO) if one simply tries to play one or two notes at a time without techniques applicable to a string instrument. It woud be interesting, however, if someone tried to rewrite the piece as a piano work utilizing the strengths of the piano, with fuller runs, many more supporting notes, etc. instead of just copying the violin's part.
@@eddiebae6243 he said "intonation" which means PLAYING in tune not tuning it, there's a difference between having an out of tune violin and playing it with shit intonation, which is what you go through on a daily basis, assuming you even have an actual violin. It you're a violist, that's... a completely different story.
Now I think eddy should have accompanied brett by playing the whole orchestra on the piano
I don't think he has that much of piano experience, but maybe I'm wrong
Eddy’s good at piano but nowhere near the level to do that
@@britishidiots3842 It’s not too difficult, but he’d have to *prAcTIcE* a whole lot
@@britishidiots3842 I'm not a professional musician and I can already play the first 2:10 and from 9:00 to 10:00, so he definitely can

Sophie oui oui should play this for two set

This is surely among the top 3 best findings I had on youtube past twelve months!
Why am I always thinking of Brett from TwosetViolin everytime I hear this concerto?
Well we usually think of Heifetz
Or also Itzhak Perlman
tbh perlman's one is more symbolic than Brett's one
@@oscarngan9970 yep, I agree
Why not Janine Jansen
this is actually one of the most beautiful versions on the concerto i've heard 🥺❤️ i have a feeling i'm gonna watch this at least 20 more times lol
Just watch Janine Jansen play it to spend more time on it and realise you’re out of time for doing anything else that day
Excellent transcription and fine performance that captures the orchestral qualities of the original
This is one of my favourite pieces! And now i have an opportunity to play it on a piano! Thank you!

I miss the dance quality, but I love the new character of the piece. It feels more grandious.

Fülbemászó melódiák, de igazán a hegedű szó az igazi.
I wish to have such bar inside a piano.. the problem is that not a single bottle survives in my home longer than 4 hours :(

The right hand has poor intonation? Huh? On a piano? How could the right hand not be in tune if the piano is
Nice, but I would prefer not so much sustain pedal.
Intonation
It's a piano
@@varunsathya1912 Pianos can be out of tune but this is prob a joke.

Great Job!! It should be on the youtube top instead of that shit there is
I hope he’s not using SimplyPiano to play this.
