Some 30 years ago there was a watch shop i always walked by. In the window there sat a watch that I liked very much. Patek Philippe of course, but I didn't know it's called a Calatrava. No internet then. And I never had the gut or the cash to go in and ask for the price. One afternoon, when i was standing in front of the shop window again, a salesman came out of the door perhaps to light a cigarette. I thought, "I had to ask him the price. Its now or never". And that I did. He looked at me from head to toe and through my pockets. He replied, "EXPENSIVE "! ...Some 30 years later, the shop is no longer there. And as im writing this, im smiling at the watch now embracing my wrist. Guess what it is, folks. Time is on my side.

PP did a great job in preventing the Nautilus from drowning their image and destroying the rest of their heritage, like what happened with AP. Hell, Rolex is nothing but a sports watch maker. The Celini is completely forgotten and probably not a line anyone will recognize as Rolex.

Was waiting for an explanation that never came as to why the watch is worth $100,000. Maybe it’s because I can’t afford to spend $100k on a timepiece, but I don’t believe any watch is worth $100k, other than, perhaps that is made out of a precious metal and becrusted with diamonds. I genuinely appreciate and admire Patek and find its movements gorgeous, but I don’t believe they are worth anywhere near $100,000. Of course, many people obviously disagree because the market supports that price. But at more than 50% the price I paid for my house, I don’t see it. I’d love to see a video that actually explains why they are worth the price.

I think the Nautilus is beyond ugly. I really hate that watch, maybe more than any other hyped up watch.

When you hit 1million subscribers you should throw me a free watch for listening to the " I know its annoying but it helps if you subscribe " for the 100th time 😂😂😂 lol

Patek is the Polish name and should be pronounced with accent on the first syllable.

I hope it wasn't a Patek clock that was installed at three mile island or Chernobyl.

Unpopular Opinion: I don't get all the hype on the Nautilus. First off it's a ladies watch. Second, I don't think it looks that good at all. Third, the price on them due to the hype is just stupid.

Perhaps, when you hit the one million mark, you should give away a serious watch? An A Lange und Sohne might be the one to go with?
