Oh my God this is so beautiful :') I feel really inspired and idk something about this plus the music jut took me away somewhere in the best way possible, it was really celestial :) thank you :) I am going to try this myself now also, so gorgeous :)
i normally don't stretch my paper unless it's 100% cotton. Perhaps the trick was the amount of water i used and the paper was thick enough to carry it.
i tried to do exactly what u did three times but the water either dries up too fast ( within 5 mins ) or im using crappy paints but my paints were $16 for a 16 pack and i heard they were good paints. do you have any tips or maybe just the brands you use for you materials.
Hello ashley. I used more water than usual, enough amount to make it flow around when I lift it. Also, on a paper thick enough to handle the water like 300gsm watercolor paper. I used sennelier paints here and some generic watercolor paper from Greece (sorry but I don't know the brand).

Love the salt effect! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. Salt is my current favorite technique in watercolor.
Beautiful... Beautiful... Beautiful.... .... Try embossing the back of the Moon once it is dry... Wow... it will really pop out (literally) ...
Thank you Judi...that's very good suggestion.
This is super satisfying
Very beautiful, may you tell me what do sprinkle at the end ?
Thank you for visiting my channel. That's got to be salt. It creates wonderful effect when used with watercolor. (●'◡'●)
Thanks for sharing. Love these little moons! What kind of brushes are you using?
Hello Jennifer. I used dagger and angular brushes...both synthetic ones.
Did you stretch your paper beforehand? Your paint really seems to travel well on the water.

what paper do you use?
It would be great if there was an explanatory narrative. Just some verbiage now and then as to how it was done, since it looks so nice!
i'm a Filipino artist but i live in hong kong. I think we are now connected. Where you from?

my paints don't disperse as much as that. 😢
Elena Stennett you just need to put water before Paint
