      Thank you for visiting my channel. That's got to be salt. It creates wonderful effect when used with watercolor. (●'◡'●)

      Hello Jennifer. I used dagger and angular brushes...both synthetic ones.

    Did you stretch your paper beforehand? Your paint really seems to travel well on the water.

    • @aizkim
      @aizkim  7 лет назад

      i normally don't stretch my paper unless it's 100% cotton. Perhaps the trick was the amount of water i used and the paper was thick enough to carry it.

    It would be great if there was an explanatory narrative. Just some verbiage now and then as to how it was done, since it looks so nice!

    i tried to do exactly what u did three times but the water either dries up too fast ( within 5 mins ) or im using crappy paints but my paints were $16 for a 16 pack and i heard they were good paints. do you have any tips or maybe just the brands you use for you materials.

    • @aizkim
      @aizkim  7 лет назад +2

      Hello ashley. I used more water than usual, enough amount to make it flow around when I lift it. Also, on a paper thick enough to handle the water like 300gsm watercolor paper. I used sennelier paints here and some generic watercolor paper from Greece (sorry but I don't know the brand).
