AUTOart's Mclaren 570S is a composite model and I managed to buy it when it was on sale. Can it compete with the diecast AUTOarts of old?
Pros:
comes with AUTOart door opening tool
fully opening
perforated engine cover grille
detailed two-tone interior
detailed steering wheel and buttons
hydraulic hinges for the doors
carpeting
Cons:
front grilles are not perforated
no carbon fibre except around the center console
fire extinguisher in the front trunk is rather simple looking
Further Cons compared to the Signature Edition AUTOart Mclaren MP4-12C:
no certificate of authenticity
no suspension
no opening fuel cap

Thanks for the post. I was told that composites don't have doors and hoods that open but they do. That is a beautiful model. I can see why people put out the extra money to buy them. It was a nice intro for me. (Good editing.)

10:56 that scratch killled the overpriced autoart
9:05 the DRL is there but it is not as pronounced. Hence why it is not noticed.
24:31 if you look closely, you can see that the base is carbon on one side but blank in the other
I have to curse you because I now feel the need to buy this model.
