Menudo ko, ginagawa ko yung classic style, hindi tomato sauce ginagamit ko. Calamansi at tinadtad na kamatis gamit ko, kaya hindi mapula. Nung bata pa kasi kami wala namang tomato sauce kaya kamatis ginagamit. I marinate the meat in toyo, lea n perrins, kikkoman bawang, onion, kamatis, calamansi at grd blk pepper for 30 minutes before isangkutsa. I use star margarine sa paggigisa.
Salamuch chef dahil meron kasi kaming potluck this Saturday. Pinoy food daw kya ginataang langka ang lulutuin ko. Sayo ko lang nalaman na meron palang langka sa lata👍. God bless po!
Glad to be of help. You may also want to rinse the canned langka with water before cooking just to be sure. It might taste sour and salty because of the brine.

For gatang lanka I used ginger masarap din, I also used bay leaf and bagoong gisado to round out the dish. I also used seafood.
sa quezon ndi kmi naglalagay ng dilis o khit anong dried fish sa ginataang langka. lumalansa kc. lutong bisaya yan may dried fish
