I was in a hurry to marry this woman I love. But I felt this message telling me to trust Gods timing. Please pray for me because I know God is using this time to make me into the godly husband he wants me to be . Please pray for me to keep the faith. Mostly please pray that my heart n my mind is changed inside out so that I live & think & talk n act the way Jesus would in all situations.
Almost all my dreams have been shattered. Now I simply dream of a good nights sleep. I would forever sacrifice my shattered dreams for 8 uninterrupted hours of sleep. My heart was broken 8 years ago. I am praying that you will be filled with The Joy of The Lord, to renew your strength. Please put on the garment of Praise, for the spirit of heaviness, child of God. Surround yourself with praise music whenever possible, even as you sleep. Renew your mind by thinking of things that are true, noble, just, pure lovely, good reports…keep the routine of searching the scriptures, everyday. I'm waiting on God's timing to alleviate my sadness and grief from my husband of 53 years dying 5 1/2 months ago. I do trust that God means to teach me lessons of how I can help others while they are grieving. But the sadness right now is just overwhelming. It's really a test of my being able to keep from falling into despair...hardest thing I have ever had to do. I pray, read the Bible, cry and then do it all over again. One day when I go to Heaven to meet Jesus and see Jimmie again, all sadness and grief will be over. I have to hold onto that. Diane in North Carolina
You are holding on to the past and what is over. Start a new daily routine, GET OUT...go to the library, church, just walk around a large store, but get out! Plant some flowers; purge...get rid of old junk, old clothes. Do SOMETHING constructive every day. And when the grief of your memories hits really hard, take THAT day to mourn and to cry. But you HAVE to keep moving and changing. That is what life is all about. And then, when you see your Jimmie again, you will have a lot to tell him, won't you?

I don't mean to imply that I do nothing but pray, read the Bible, and cry all day long. I'm only saying that it's very hard to push through the sadness even with doing all those things. I will always hold on to the memories; I don't think God means for me to let those go. Have you lost a spouse and know first hand - is that where your suggestions are coming from? I losy my Father 3 years ago, and I read this somewhere. Grief is like always carrying a suitcase full of rocks. It is heavy but in time, you will get used to it. It is still heavy, it is still there, but you get use to carrying it. The pain will always be there, but you will learn to live with it. And pray that God replace the despair with excitement of someday meeting each other again in heaven. ❤️

You're right that the grief is still there, but it got easier to carry with my parents and brother, maybe partly because I always had my husband along side me to help carry the grief. It's been very different losing my husband. Though I miss Jimmie terribly, I wouldn't have him back here after he's experienced Heaven. Yes, I do look forward to seeing Jimmie again in Heaven, after meeting Jesus in person first. But some days, the anticipation of seeing Jimmie one day gets outweighed by my sadness at missing him. I'll keep carrying the rocks until my turn to go to Heaven. Again thank you for your comments.
I met a great girl. We vibed really well and am so sad cause I didn’t even get the chance to tell her how I feel. But it’s all in your hands God. I want the absolute best for both of us and everyone. If it means I never see her again, so be it. I just pray that she knows you.
For all my childhood, I had been an anxious child. Now, even after becoming a Christian at the age of 18, this tendency to be anxious still clings on to me. God was crying for years. It sounded like a squeaky wheel that sounded like a bird. It didn't make me feel mentally ill and was kind of comforting not being alone. I didn't think of suicide the whole time God was crying. That was probably it's purpose. He probably saved my life.
Why Stress when I'm so Blessed! I might not have everything I want and know I deserve but I trust that God has it all planned out accordingly. I see others with a similar dream who are much younger than me and who are living it. Why do I have to wait?" I don't have the answer to that yet, but I know that His word will NOT return to me void and it will come to pass. @westCoast, timing is everything. Find within yourself and get to know yourself and make changes in your life with GODS planning. We are not GOD, but we shall serve and do as he wants us to do. You are bound to find that special one in your life. Don’t give up. Maybe there is some things in your character that does not allow our Heavenly Father to provide you with a great woman yet. On my own experience, is very hard to maintain a family and a happy home. I have to make changes myself if I want to continue my blessings with my wife and family. HAVE FAITH AND PRAY EVERY DAY!! God will always be with you.

Waiting is all I feel like I've done for almost 4 years for my physical health to recover, and almost 20 years for my mental health to change. I am only 21 but have had untreatable mental health issues since birth. Years of treatments from many different medical facilities have failed only for me to discover one doctor who is now helping me physically. And now, it looks like my mental health could potentially be totally cured because I was diagnosed with a curable tick borne disease(Lyme). I can't wait to see the world through a normal mind. I look forward to that day. I pray God forgives me for giving up on him. I know he will because he is merciful and forgives my sin and understands my mental issues.

Thanks for this timely message! No pun intended. Right now I'm so frustrated about things not coming to pass, but then I am humbled by God's word - it comforted me and assured me that God is in control.
Your testimony about his teaching is exactly like mine. His teachings became transformative to me more than miracles and wonders which I had gone to experience. Now I can create my own miracles and wonders through living and meditating in the word of God. I am now a channel of blessing to my family and others. They ask me to pray for them or advise them or speak for them or stand in faith with them because they have noticed God lives in me and fruits are abound.
I will just correct this one thing.. God has revealed things to me before it happened. Some things. So I do personally believe that he can reveal things personal to us before it’s timing.
True, he has also revealed to me. This is part of the prophetic spiritual gift. But remember somewhere in 1 Corienthians 12-14 it speaks about how we prophesy in part. Therefore he shows you a puzzle piece of what will happen. We don't make life changing decisions based on one puzzle piece but add it to Gods word, advice from mentors, Christian community and prayer and journalling with the Holy Spirit.

I'm almost 27 and still didnt meet my future wife yet. Almost tired of looking as in trying to hurry up the process before a certain age but its in His timing not mine. I'm sure theres still things God wants me to learn and realise before that commitment.

@westCoast, timing is everything. Find within yourself and get to know yourself and make changes in your life with GODS planning. We are not GOD, but we shall serve and do as he wants us to do. You are bound to find that special one in your life. Don’t give up. Maybe there is some things in your character that does not allow our Heavenly Father to provide you with a great woman yet. On my own experience, is very hard to maintain a family and a happy home. I have to make changes myself if I want to continue my blessings with my wife and family. HAVE FAITH AND PRAY EVERY DAY!! God will always be with you.

When I'm obsessed with things that I want, it's time to think about God's time. My time is imperfect but God's time is perfect. With this faith, let me wait and stay in firm until your time comes to me.
Waiting is all I feel like I've done for almost 4 years for my physical health to recover, and almost 20 years for my mental health to change. I am only 21 but have had untreatable mental health issues since birth. Years of treatments from many different medical facilities have failed only for me to discover one doctor who is now helping me physically. And now, it looks like my mental health could potentially be totally cured because I was diagnosed with a curable tick borne disease(Lyme). I can't wait to see the world through a normal mind. I look forward to that day. I pray God forgives me for giving up on him. I know he will because he is merciful and forgives my sin and understands my mental issues.

Your testimony about his teaching is exactly like mine. His teachings became transformative to me more than miracles and wonders which I had gone to experience. Now I can create my own miracles and wonders through living and meditating in the word of God. I am now a channel of blessing to my family and others. They ask me to pray for them or advise them or speak for them or stand in faith with them because they have noticed God lives in me and fruits are abound.

I will just correct this one thing.. God has revealed things to me before it happened. Some things. So I do personally believe that he can reveal things personal to us before it’s timing.

agree! Either by dreams or sometimes I just know.
True, he has also revealed to me. This is part of the prophetic spiritual gift. But remember somewhere in 1 Corienthians 12-14 it speaks about how we prophesy in part. Therefore he shows you a puzzle piece of what will happen. We don't make life changing decisions based on one puzzle piece but add it to Gods word, advice from mentors, Christian community and prayer and journalling with the Holy Spirit.

Since im young i felt drawn when i first saw your book #PURPOSE OF DRIVEN LIFE, at my young age i really want to buy that book and wanted to read it,, maybe i was 12 yrs.
