Its because the OLED is a 64GB internal vs Standard/Lite that have 32GB internal. Therefore, you have to emulate a 64GB sysnand (2x58) instead of the 32GB Sysnand (2x29) like shown in the video. Just go with 2x58 and you should be fine. Worked for me.
In case anyone experience partial backup (due to no memory space left though you have already delete all the your games etc), you need to take out your SD card and get into PC to transfer (Ctrl + V) few backed up files earlier to give more extra SD card space for you to continue the backup process later. Thank you for the detail, my first card was in exfat, so the backup file was 29 GB, if I do not want to cut it is it possible to create a new emuMM? And is the card in fat 32 better than exfat?
A bit more involved but if it was me... I'd set up Hekate on a new mSD card and partition it for emuMMC. Then format the bigger partition in to exFAT, copy over the backup to restore, restore it, then format the main partition back to FAT32. FAT32 is the better format for CFW.
@@MrMario2011 I followed your advice, and when I put everything back on the sd card in Fat32, I got an error message. I think I need to make some changes, because on my initial card everything was installed in exfat. Is there a tutorial on how to do this? Thanks.

Everything booted up fine after transferring the files but when I try to load the games it says cannot load software, try again from home menu. On tinfoil, there’s a section that says incomplete and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games. What should I do from here?
Try and arch bit fix vv (Make sure your Switch is in RCM mode and in hekate.) In hekate, click on: Tools ➜ Arch bit • RCM Touch • Pkg1/2 ➜ Fix Archive Bit Let it run and when finished launch your CFW again. had same issue tried sys-patch and sig patch but did not work once I did the "Fix Archvie" Everything worked.

No applications have chunks higher than 4 GB once installed, they are split. That sounds like you're trying to transfer over NSPs that you either haven't installed yet or already installed and never deleted.
What if you cannot load back into hekate? I have tried several things and looked for info but everything I saw to try doesn’t work. Always loads into atmosphere. It’s like hekate doesn’t exist? Is there a way to reinstall hekate?
It will launch as long as you inject the payload. If you have it set to autoboot Atmosphere, you need to hold Vol+ or Vol- when you inject and boot into Hekate.
Why not use geniusdisk free version and clone the OLD SD to new one. Make sure use the option copy file so u can toggle the fat32 partition to expand with new sd card capacity.
I have a Switch OLED. When I want to make the partition I do not have the 2x29 option, but instead I have 2x58 directly. In the comments I see that the same thing happens to several people. Even so, my question is this, why should I choose 2x58 instead of just 58 Full? Why does the Switch OLED need 2 Emummc?
@@MrMario2011 At minute 11:10 you mention 2x29 Mario, and since I don't have . Could you clarify this for me please? Another thing, is there any way to know if it is safe to play from the original CFW without the risk of banning?
Hello brother, I bought a new sd 1T doesn’t want to work on Nintendo Switch OLED can you send me a link to the files that I need transfer to the memory card?
If it was me? I would temporarily format the card in a PC after it has been partitioned to exFAT And only load up Hekate in order to copy over and restore your rawnand.bin file. After that has been restored, format the main data partition on PC to FAT32 And do your file copy.

@@MrMario2011 do you have a video for setting up an sd card from scratch? The console already has hekate
I have a problem when copying over I am using a SD File and I am upgrading from a 400GB to a 1TB the problem copying over is at the emuMMC folders. I did everything I saw. Do I have to back up my emuMMC and then restore it on the new card???
Can you transfer when certain software data is archived? I can’t un archive everything because I don’t have enough space
That won't make a difference thankfully.
My oled switch wont turn on with new sd card after restoring files, what did I do wrong? :(
Nothing in this video would prevent a Switch from booting up unless you did something wild like restored a bad NAND to sysEMMC.
Is it necessary to download the emummmc when there are blocker apps ?
Depends on your usage.
@@MrMario2011 I won't go online on it tho, also I wanted to ask all the tools that are not in the homebrew I would have to find them in GitHub or you have a guide for that too ?
Sorry for the bother I'm new to this so just want to do things right.
Thanks.
Finally, I cut the backup file into 4GB files, I restored it in my Fat32 sd card, in only 2mn !!! And… all seem to be OK ?!!! Is that normal ?
Will Android still boot after doing this?
if i look in hekate on the switch through tinfoil it says emummc disabled. How do i migrate to a larger micro sd card in this situation please
Bro i got a new sd card cause mines was small how i am suppose to make extra space when space was the problem for this thing...
Figure it out!
what should I do if after this method everything was restored, but the games on the console began to weigh 0 MB and do not start?
I have the same issue. Did you fix it? Did we miss a step?
I have an Oled version and once i try to select 29 full ..that option is not available... Only 2x58...and once I select that I only have 380gb in my 512gb sd
same issue
What is this 29 Full, can i push it more to the right to get more space or does it create any issues. I just wanna use the homebrew and not the stock side
If you have a standard or Lite console you don't need anything more than 29 FULL, going higher than that is a waste of storage.
Thanks helped a lot mate
No problem 👍
How do I format the original SD card so that I can use it on something else? It has two partitions at the moment.
Delete all of the partitions.
Hi, so I just have a regular SD file (with no partition). Everything booted up fine after transferring the files but when I try to load the games it says cannot load software, try again from home menu. On tinfoil, there’s a section that says incomplete and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games. What should I do from here?
Sys-patch
Try and arch bit fix vv
(Make sure your Switch is in RCM mode and in hekate.) In hekate, click on: Tools ➜ Arch bit • RCM Touch • Pkg1/2 ➜ Fix Archive Bit Let it run and when finished launch your CFW again.
had same issue tried sys-patch and sig patch but did not work once I did the "Fix Archvie" Everything worked.
Bro I have just bought a jailbreak Switch Light. and when I followed your instruction, I've found my emuMMC info & selection is Disabled. I don't know what I have to do now
Sounds like you missed a step, if everything is set up properly then it should be enabled.
I got same problem my emummc disabled, what to do? What step do i miss?
I bought a used modded switch and want to upgrade the drive, it's setup as SD File, and I don't have the EMUMMC folder, I only have the BOOT0 and BOOT1 file in the root of weird named folder after Backup, what do I do?
Covered SD File setup in the video, just copy and paste.
@@MrMario2011 Figured out the issue. My card reader has a single slot, I copied to the computer and then back to the new card. When I dug out a second card reader and did a straight copy, everything worked out perfect.
Do these steps work on a Mac? Many thanks in advance to the legendary Mr Mario 2011.
Yep! Desktop OS doesn't matter, I created the tutorial with that in mind.
My old SD Card show SD Files so I follow the steps but on my new sd card it shows boot.dat even the new sd card have the boot.dat files
is this mean upgrading ofw and cfw at the same time?
This has nothing to do with firmware upgrades.
@@MrMario2011 i mean the storage, can the ofw use the cfw storage??
mine says disabled. "emuMMC is disabled and eMMC will be used for boot
how do you overcome the file size limits of fat32 I have nsp files of 6Gb? how do I transfer those to sd card?
No applications have chunks higher than 4 GB once installed, they are split.
That sounds like you're trying to transfer over NSPs that you either haven't installed yet or already installed and never deleted.
What if i dont have enough storage in the sd?
Better clear up some space.
It actually seems simpler to realize. Did you do it this way and can you confirm that it is effective and without data loss?
Can I use this to migrate my entire system, os and games to a new system? I want to put everything on my old switch on an oled
Nope, this is not a system transfer.
@@MrMario2011 Aww man. Thanks for your reply. Is system transferral possible?
@@MrMario2011 ???
@@MrMario2011 bump
@@HimMrMbro u bumped your own message 😂
Will it work with different consoles?
This is not for transferring from one console to another if that's what you're asking.
OLED does not need two.
@@MrMario2011 At minute 11:10 you mention 2x29 Mario, and since I don't have . Could you clarify this for me please?
Another thing, is there any way to know if it is safe to play from the original CFW without the risk of banning?
2x29 is not 2x58
@@MrMario2011 It dont give the option 2x29 at my oled. i have used the 58 full option
So let’s say I screw up somewhere down the line, I can just put my old sd card back in and everything will be ok?
Yes, this doesn't make any changes to your actual console.
@@MrMario2011 does the drive lettering need to be the same or is that irrelevant?
@@tde439 It doesn't have to be the same. Just make sure you select the correct disk to clone and the target disk.
Hello brother, I bought a new sd 1T doesn’t want to work on Nintendo Switch OLED can you send me a link to the files that I need transfer to the memory card?
I don't have any secret sauce, everything used is linked in the description.
hi ,can you please tell my how to tranfer all data from old hacked swith to a new hacked oled switch?
That's not what this video covers.
its not copy the rawnand.bin because of fat32 cannot copy large file what should i do?
If it was me? I would temporarily format the card in a PC after it has been partitioned to exFAT And only load up Hekate in order to copy over and restore your rawnand.bin file.
After that has been restored, format the main data partition on PC to FAT32 And do your file copy.
@@MrMario2011 its what i did thanks
