NOW YOU KNOW we all played this enough times to get our fix from this! me? 7 times! I miss that tall coool one - our dear Michael Rhodes, RIP our friend~
Rest In Peace Michael Rhodes (bass) who we have just lost. His family said that in his honor we should listen to a piece of music that matters to us. Michael played on an awful lot of the music that matters to me.
Wow! These guys are at the top of their game. The juxtaposition of such a driving groove being played out to the backdrop of such a (e)motionless audience is quite striking. lol. Great video, thanks so much for sharing.
What an absolutely amazing version of this song! A lot of people don't realize just exactly how good Vince is on guitar. And with this band behind you? Forget about it!
But he’s not as good as Brent Mason. And he knows it. Watch him during Brent’s solo. He’s having flashbacks to that time he was on stage with Danny Gatton. When the other guitarist just shreds the neck and all you can do is play a few chords and watch. Or…they do an instrumental tune after this…
@ranjo1965 I agree w/ you ranjo. The people who were there just sat there dead panned and motionless. You couldn't ask for a better fast tappin' shuffle song than that one. When I first heard this "live" version it blew my mind! Being a former musician I could feel the togetherness and tightness of the band. I sat here tapping my feet and going nuts watching the guys jam and felt like I was there w/ them. Can't understand sometimes people who don't understand or feel this. Too bad 4 them..
