He giving all the free game. I had braids with the drop fade and had that little mini afro on the side and back because I was getting tapers and I also got my haircut before getting it braided. I ended up cutting it because the new growth looked wild with the fade and now im growing it back with just my sides tapered.

My beard grow the same way. I cut it every week-2 weeks to help it grow back and it’s slowly making progress. I say you cut it, and also disconnect the mustache and chin, just to help it grow fuller and give it a cleaner look.

Heard the first two tips you were correct I like it. I dont taper my hair anymore. I let the back grow out shit dumb long now. It's my inner top layer of my chest. When I go for tapers I do it near the beard. I hate that fade new the hairline it looks stupid. This video was very informative

Same, I grew my hair for almost 2 years without even cutting the ends (don't ask me why) and I had centimeters of damaged hair. I learned one thing, HEALTH BEFORE LENGTH
Ahh I had a high top only because I was trying to grow it out then i decided to braid it now I can’t taper it in the sides because I had high top previously. And I got my cut first before I did the braids 💀💀
Quinton N i had a similar issue. i ended up cutting my shit level at a 2 on april 28 2019 and ima grow my shit and get a taper fade around april 2021to give my hair enough time to grow to a length where i can braid it and my shit reaches my chin
I used an S Curl in like 4 years ago. I should have gotten rid of most the chemicals since I would trim the top off frequently because of how dry and straight some of the stands looked. You can def bounce back if you were uneducated and used an S Curl. I finessed and have some really nice curly hair now.
I’m about to cut my hair. I spent 2 years growing it and when I braided it last, a lot fell out. So now it’s like I either figure out how to strengthen my hair to get braids a few times a year. Or just cut it.
my hair was long about 7-8 inches and had amazing curls and then my mom decided to do a s curl which messed my whole hair journey up afterwards my hair was stringy instead of curly/coily, i couldn't style it how i wanted to and it was just a mess i finally cut my hair to about 3 inches or so in November. I've been following your videos and deep conditioning personally made my hair seem longer like it's actually been growing. I've been deep conditioning, putting oil on my scalp, protecting my hair at night and washing with conditioner every week. Do you have any other advice for faster hair growth, and where should i be in 6 months following these tips?

I was looking for a barber, my Dad put me onto this mexican girl. She was doing a good job when my hair was short I guess. Then I started growing it out. I came back to her after a 5-6 months and she cuts right into the front part of my LONG hair. I got a moderate sized forehead where my hairline doesn't hang don't my forehead so I can't get one of those types of tapers. She ruined a small portion of the front of my hair making it shorter then the rest of my hair. She was just being extra, I haven't went back to her ever since then. I just been cutting my hair myself and haven't had problems since then. The lesson is, cut your own hair and save your money or have someone in your family do it.
i honestly screwed up my taper about 2 times and the first took months to grow back to an ok length to try it again. I have long hair that ive been growing for years. idk what do to do anymore
My barber pushed my hairline back n when it grew back it grew into a tapered hairline it's not really bad but it really only look good when its braided🤦🏿♂️idk if I wanna cut it or work with it I just hit the year and a half mark after making the big chop last winter
