Purdy is improving. He’s not standing still. He’s become a top 5-7 QB now. The last few times I’ve watched him, I’ve been impressed - and he’s improved from where he was last year.
This is kinda my take. I generally agree with Nick's central purdy argument - that the team and the system are such that a middling QB can come in and have great success, but good will and continued success gives him the chance to grow into it

@@eftbt Lol that's not entirely the case as the Bears had such a stacked teams years ago yet their qb kept on losing them the game. Jimmy G could not move the ball at all whereas Purdy can. Eye test was rather easy with regards to Purdy, he threw consistent balls with great timing/placement. Jimmy G.....a whole different case.
I'm not saying Purdy is better than Mahomes. Of course I would take Mahomes. But, there is NO WAY you can tell me Mahomes this past Sunday was better than Purdy on Thursday. Nick is nuts.

The Ravens defense has faced Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Dak Prescott so far this year. I don’t think the Ravens defense is good by any means, but they have been playing the best quarterbacks in football so far this year. I think they may skew the defensive passing stats a bit. (they did get waxed by Gardner Minshew as well though) lol
