A technocrat from IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta, Ashish Chauhan was a founding member of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), a premier financial institution in the country.
Prior to joining NSE back in 2022, he served as the MD and CEO of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) for 10 years.
Chauhan is widely regarded as the pioneer of modern financial derivatives in India. He is the creator of the Nifty index and other path-breaking frameworks such as NSE certifications in financial market
