@Hemant Negi Yeah, they are living on debt. I have never seen such enthusiasm in stocks(some Adani stocks) where there is so much pledging and still FII and DII are buying like crazy.
@@karanshah633 Because in India, short selling is only possible for intraday. And all Adani companies don't have F&O. Also, a company doesn't go bankrupt in 1 day, you need to buy very long term(in years) futures/options which are not present in Indian markets unlike USA markets.

Businesses, Govt and Economy as a whole try to grow, they work for the growth and so, in the long run, market goes up.
Exactly & over any 2-3 year period businesses & economy do go up. Only issue is how fast and whether Govt. is doing enough to accelerate it. India's problem has been our socialist policies and just an overall negative view of businessmen.

Many like me had the hunch about steel. But not being a regular investor and afraid of stock markets in general due to lot of Agyan; it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. With due respect I think, RR is not fully aware of stories behind "GameStop" in USA, I understand he is on other side of this story but its not that easy when companies are working so hard to stay float and these short seller killing it by keeping company stocks down/shorting. Due to this activities, company is not able to raise capital on good term and end up diluting more then they should be. IMO India and US stock markets are different ball game, its very easy for RR to talk about TESLA and other US stocks.

Surprisingly no one has mentioned about Job creations which a burgeoning young population need.Unless people have money in hand how consumption can grow and hence economy @ double digit.Also if a country's democratic institutions are at attack,can it grow economically that too at the rate of double digit.
