The judge was remiss in allowing her to turn her chair away from the victims giving their impact statements. I have seen judges tell the convicted to sit up and look at the victim. Lori was allowed to turn and hide her face in a book or something. Mormon justice is off. The prosecution and judge didn't allow all the victims to speak- he didn't even allow grandparents. I can't imagine someone not allowing me to speak on losing one of my grand children. They are the world to me. I am not impressed with him despite the long sentences. She was allowed to escape justice in her twisted head and not forced to listen to the victims give their impact statements.

She's a serial killer: Stacey Cox (sister 5/21/1998), Joseph Ryan (ex-husband/Tylee's dad 4/3/2018), Charles Vallow (husband 7/11/2019), Tylee Ryan (daughter 9/8/2019), JJ Vallow (adopted son 9/24/2019), Tammy Daybell (boyfriend Chad's wife 10/19/2019), Alex Cox (brother 12/12/2019) and 2 attempted murders: 10/2/2019 Tammy Daybell and 10/9/2019 Brandon Boudreaux (married at the time to Lori's niece Melani whose mother was Stacey Cox)

Her “near death” experience is straight from one of Chad’s books. I heard that earlier today on a podcast.
I also don't believe her 2nd husband would do anything to harm his daughter Tylee. I believe she created this lie to continue her sordid excuses to keep him away from his daughter. Such a sick person. She was in the making to becoming who she really is, nothing but a serial killer.

@@georgettegabriel839 what I’ve read is that she died from complications of Diabetes. However, Megan (the cousin) stated she saw Alex Cox give her “something” in her meds and she surmises it put her in a comatose state. She died days later.

After watching her read her entire statement I am surprised that NO ONE from the victim’s side disrupted the court with an outburst. Omg at one point she was basically insinuating that she was doing Tylee a favor since supposedly Tylee was always in extreme pain.

Thank God she got squashed like a bug today.

I have followed this case from day one here in Australia, I am a mum to a 12yo daughter and an 8yo son, and this case really shocked me, how could any mum do this to her children, poor Tylee and JJ, I did not know them but still had more love for them than their own mother, and I am sure that there are people like me around the world who love and adore Taylee and JJ and wanted to see justice served, I will light candles tonight for everyone who were victims of this evil demon.

She had been that way from the beginning of the sentencing. I thought she was so disrespectful to everyone, especially the Judge and the families of loved ones she has mutilated and killed. She was moving her foot like she was bored with the whole thing. Then to come out with that ludicrous statement, I don't know how they all remained calm. I hope her life in jail is as terrible as what she put her children through and hope that with the next set of court she gets the death penalty. Fingers crossed.

I honestly think that this woman has completely disconnected from reality because she could NEVER accept the heinous things that she has done, let alone face up to them and be remorseful. I think that the ONLY slap of reality will be actually being treated for her mental illness and made to face up to what she has done.
Either she is worthy of an Oscar for her acting abilities, or she genuinely believes this. I, too, had a spiritual visit from my older brother a week after he was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1968. And he told me he was just fine, and that I was going to also be fine. I am 74 years old, and think about what he told me every day in that visit I was gifted. But, it never entered my mind to kill someone’s because they were going to be okay in the afterlife. As for an insanity plea; even if she is found to be legally insane during her next trial, she will still have to go to a prison for the mentally insane, which is much, much worse than a standard prison. I find myself pitying her, especially if and when she wakes up and realizes what she did. I hope Chad gets the same sentence! I fully believe he somehow snatched her mind and twisted it into what we witnessed in her statement.
This woman loved that she got the last say perpetuating how she is the most special human in the world. She just lived out her dream that millions of people would see and hear her as a super natural being on earth. Hoping that everyone will hale her as the first messiah.

So vile. This case had so many bizarre elements, as well as religious ones; that the depravity of Lori, and her extreme vileness, was almost vying for some attention in the midst of it all. What she did, and the evil actions she directed, are so horrendous that they are almost impossible to believe. Yet, her and her smiling new husband, are joyfully experiencing a Hawaiian honeymoon in those unforgettable photos. The two of them together, and their shared delusions. They coupled up so quickly, and murdered shortly thereafter. It’s so absurd, yet it’s horribly true. Makes me more suspicious of strangers, than before.
