Ironically enough Jennette McCurdy (Sam's actress) is essentially the complete opposite of Sam. She is polite, nice, and also feminine. She is way more similar to her other character and Sam's sister, Melanie. It makes sense the she would care about typical girl things like doing her hair and makeup. That aspect of herself is reflected in her character in terms of her hairstyle and slim body type (she also was insecure about her weight and had an eating disorder while playing Sam). Although her clothes were chosen by the costume designers for the show, which is why Sam never wore dresses, skirts, or anything too feminine.

@@matthewmann8969 i don’t think you actually watched the show considering that a person like jonah is not like freddie. he’s that “hot punk” boy that every girl obsesses over, which for obvious reasons makes it clear not to make fun of someone like him. have you ever heard of an enemies to lovers trope? that’s what they were implying in this video, making it seem like sam truly loves someone who makes her seem like her actual self. she faked being nice and cool around jonah because she wanted to appear valid to him. however to freddie, she makes fun of him because it’s her natural instinct which eventually leads to them being together as for the trope and for sam’s feelings itself
my personal opinion and theory is that same was secretly in love with freddie the entire time. but knowing he was in love with carly was too much to deal with so she provided herself a defense mechanism in the only way she knew how, with violence and aggression. and she went back and forth the entire series, trying to come to terms with it. and by season 3/4 creddie was almost nonexistent, and i think that’s when she tried to be close with him and they ended up in a relationship and then later broke up because they were unsure how much and how they really liked each other. i really want the seddie storyline to go on but it’ll be almost impossible without jenette’s appearance on the new show but it’s understandable why she wouldn’t want to.
I also have this theory that Sam was always in love with Freddie. In fact, my theory has always been that Carly and Sam are in love with him, but for various reasons they don't admit that passion.
Sam and freddie feels more realistic while carly just feels like cheap cardboard romance novel. Sam and freddie makes sense cause opposites attract. They're polar opposite from each other. Freddie and carly feels more forced like they had to do it for plot and it feels like Freddie's just satisfying some childhood crush while sam and freddie turned more into a genuine connection. It is disappointing Sam didn't come back on and she was my favorite of the three. New icarlys kind of boring without her your missing that balance.
That does not give Sam or anybody else the right to physically and sexually harass Freddie or any other so called "Nerds", "Geeks", "Dorks", "Dweebs", "Nubs", or "Losers".

When Sam watched them dancing was a sad scene. It was totally a scene to match the theme of this video. The scene where Sam came to Freddie for help, was also sad. And when Gibby and Freddie were trying to impress, and Freddie was sitting infront of a girl that looked like Sam! Once, Freddie even asked Sam if she wanted to get back together. And in Sam and Cat freddie and sam kept on almost saying they loved each other and at the end even made plans for dinner, So- The first 2 were signs of seddie before it happened. The 3rd, fourth, and fifth, were signs that seddie wanted to get back together.
Just as Helga was into Arnold And Cindy into Jimmy yet those people did not deserve to have the person they crushed on since day one and neither did Sam yeah.
You could especially see in iSpeed Date when Sam walks in and sees Carly and Freddie dancing together how she was jealous and secretly in love with Freddie because she had a surprised look on her face when she saw Freddie and Carly dancing together, realized that they are dancing together, has a sad look on her face, leaves, and still looks

@@matthewmann8969 i don’t think you actually watched the show considering that a person like jonah is not like freddie. he’s that “hot punk” boy that every girl obsesses over, which for obvious reasons makes it clear not to make fun of someone like him. have you ever heard of an enemies to lovers trope? that’s what they were implying in this video, making it seem like sam truly loves someone who makes her seem like her actual self. she faked being nice and cool around jonah because she wanted to appear valid to him. however to freddie, she makes fun of him because it’s her natural instinct which eventually leads to them being together as for the trope and for sam’s feelings itself

my personal opinion and theory is that same was secretly in love with freddie the entire time. but knowing he was in love with carly was too much to deal with so she provided herself a defense mechanism in the only way she knew how, with violence and aggression. and she went back and forth the entire series, trying to come to terms with it. and by season 3/4 creddie was almost nonexistent, and i think that’s when she tried to be close with him and they ended up in a relationship and then later broke up because they were unsure how much and how they really liked each other. i really want the seddie storyline to go on but it’ll be almost impossible without jenette’s appearance on the new show but it’s understandable why she wouldn’t want to.
I also have this theory that Sam was always in love with Freddie. In fact, my theory has always been that Carly and Sam are in love with him, but for various reasons they don't admit that passion.
Sam and freddie feels more realistic while carly just feels like cheap cardboard romance novel. Sam and freddie makes sense cause opposites attract. They're polar opposite from each other. Freddie and carly feels more forced like they had to do it for plot and it feels like Freddie's just satisfying some childhood crush while sam and freddie turned more into a genuine connection. It is disappointing Sam didn't come back on and she was my favorite of the three. New icarlys kind of boring without her your missing that balance.
