That was pure class & respect for your elders , wow . I worked in a tire retreading shop , we did all tires new and used so we were always very busy. We had about 3to4 older gentlemen that liked to come in &have a pop or a cup of coffee , shoot the breeze & stand by the tire molds , they were heated with steam, so they were really warm . The younger guys would get upset with them for coming in , I liked to talk to them and listen to their stories and learn from them . One guy in particular was a real ass to them , I finally told him , I hope when you get old and don't have anybody and are alone & cold you will remember how you just treated these men ! I always looked forward to their visits ! Sorry so long .

Busy as can be, focused on the project, and "ON AIR", they might have been excused if they treated the visit as an intrusion. But they were warm, respectful, engaging and humorous, handling the unexpected with exemplary aplomb, grace, and class. Wow. Hope I'm like that, next time (and any time) similar things happen to me.

Again it's me and I just can't get over the skills with which joaline has with that little camera I mean she captures everything u do while your doing it....now as far as the old man visitor that was special bro he must have 75 years of experience on his shoulder and there's no telling what that friendship may bring to ur life God works in mysterious ways... All he's looking for is a couple friends since he's retired he doesn't have much to do...chad humility goes a long way and u have the spiritual principals to grow and become a better man,,, I wish I had ur heart commitment and life u have see I'm a man in recovery and I blew away most of my life so now I carry many recentments and regrets but slowly getting my shit together and I pray the man upstairs guides and gives me the strength to take one step forward daily....keep the he@d up my brother....

I think you're making the right call in building the seats. I was worried there wouldn't be enough space for a normal backside between the sides inside the wheel well, but now that you put both pieces in I see that's not a problem. I have a Lotus Europa and its seats, which fit me quite well, are basically the same concept as yours. I recommend when you get the backs in and some foam, put Joline back in and figure out whether the tops are right -- they look a bit short now but she's the one they need to fit. And the shorter tops mean a seatback won't be blocking your view out the back. This show really does inspire me. Not to metalwork, but to getting things done. Thanks!

You are both good folks. Thanks so much for these videos. Looking forward to getting back out on the projects in the front yard. I will be armed with some bad Chad knowledge to incorporate into my tin work. Thanks for sharing it with us!!!
