me too . i lived in Cleveleys for eight years . every evening the beach never looked the same .. brilliant .. the light changed sooo much . you could get a different photo of the same place every evening
Words escape me on the beauty of the morning. I remember when you were just starting. You have come a long way. Your skill of photography. I am only over 3,000 miles away or more. But it is wonderful to see your picture.
Love your cheerfulness. Spring is fabulous when in the countryside, true, but you must admit that for photos taken on the beach, it doesn’t make much difference what season you are in ;) second remark : have you ever considered using a medium or long focal lens?

Kim, Love your landscape with the grasses bathed in pools of sunlight, leading toward the house on the hill, the eye guided by the fence. Very compelling picture.

I so wish I could go out... No direct sunlight in my apartment and I really miss it. But I'm going through old shots that were waiting on my hard drive for some attention from me, so there's that, at least. At the moment, I'm going through photos of Finland, the country where I got into photography and discovered my love for what I call the peaceful landscape, and it does make me feel good to see them. Hope the pandemic's not hurting you too much. Looking forward to more videos of Scotland.

Nice colours with that sunrise. I used to always go west coast but I've got to say the light houses along the east are stealing me away. On a mission to get them at night with nice star filled skies.

Nice! I've wanted to visit Scotland with my camera for years and your video does not help :-) I agree about the Spring, I love it in South-West France where I live. Too bad right now of course since we all have to stay home but, well, next year... :-)
Funny, but 'Nice' and 'Clear skies' don't normally go together in normal landscape photography parlance, but for you Kim, we'll let you get away with that. Thanks for keeping us entertained with your infectious enthusiasm. Keep the videos coming.
Stunning pictures Kim . The hiking trails , beach areas are closed in Southern California so no landscapes to photograph. Doing protrait photography something I never do since I am isolated at home
Lovely vlog kim. It was nice for me personality because I can remember that day. You did leave early I remember driving to work looking at that every same moon. It was beautiful that day a nice memory thank you.

Being 5 minutes from a state park I am able to get out. But I need some boots to walk the river since the area is broads as far as you can see. Great video with great photos. Just be careful, stay safe and be healthy.

Really enjoyable blog. Some cracking shots especially the sunrise reflection. I have recently changed from a crop sensor Nikon DSLR to the Z6 and would be interested in your views now you have had the camera a while. I live in the lakes and some of my photography is hand held so I think the EVF is superb. There are a lot of other things that work well and very impressed with the 24-70 F4. The adaptor works very well also which I use with a 70-300.

3 photography Mantras..1) check you have batteries charged 2) stay on location 20 minutes after you want to go home 3) as they say at Pantomimes...BEHIND YOU 4) rules are made to be broken (except lockdown)

Rules get broken when they come into conflict with another rule. Getting a solid composition usually trumps most other rules
Dont you just love the light, when it happens and you got it all to yourself, pays to get oot early.
