Hey Otto, is that possible to attach the magnetic part to the necklase board in a vertical position? (is the entire surface of the board is magnetic?)
Yeah the entire surface is magnetic

And how fast is the QUICK CAPTURE ?
Like in GoPro, it takes 2 seconds to start shooting when you hit quick capture button
yeah there is a delay on both devices. After you press the button, The Gopro 10 starts recording exactly at 2.8 seconds. The Action 2 at around 2 seconds.
@@OttoJulian_ ... if it works at all. Often, mine says there is no SD card. Then you have to press the button again to start recording. Now that could be the SD card I use, but there's no other card-related error.
@@Ozpeter I've tested this about a hundred times now with the internal memory and a microSD card and I don't get this kind of problem. The only problem that I ran into a couple of times was not holding it long enough and therefore powering on the Action 2 instead of triggering the "quickcapture" (They call it Snapshot)

Hola, la cámara se puede usar sin la aplicación. Pero la aplicación Mimo se necesita para activar la cámara la primera vez que se usa. saludos!

Mr.Otto. could you also please help me with my confusion. I am getting confused everytime I watch videos on youtube whether to use in built slow-motion mode in DJI pocket 2 (or action 2 or DJI OM 5) or simply shoot videos at 4k 120 FPS and slow it down in post? Could you please make a video on this topic as well. I m sure many of us have this confusion.

Short answer, the built-in slow motion is for people that will not be doing any post edition, and the file you get is already a "slow motion" file (you can't go back to 120fps on most cases. If you "manually" do the slow motion, at 120fps, you get more flexibility in terms of speed (interpret footage at 24fps and then play with different speeds, speed ramps, etc)

Otto when I used the lanyard it only goes on tight upside down, photos I've found show it upside-down, problem is its shooting upside down with lanyard is this right? If so how to I flip the image? What am I doing wrong ? Spent a long time trying to make magnets working rightside up no luck.
yeah the camera goes upside down on the lanyard. You can flip the image in post. To avoid having the video upside down you need to start recording with the camera already in the position that you want (If you start recording with the button upwards and then flip it around so the button is at the bottom then it will flip the image) hope it makes sense

I'm happy to say I own one :-) I hope they improve the lanyard because I feel like my movement is very heavy and rapid. I have yet to test it.
No sign of having it dropped yet and then again, I don't plan to drop it anytime soon XD very high quality built. I love the voice control on it to shutdown. Wish they also enable it for Power On. I'm getting lazier.

@Otto Julian true true it was either this, GoPro Hero10, or insta360. I guess for me, it was this. Now GoPro Hero 10 has improved their firmware since their release as well as new battery, it is better for those wanting to record for longer action.
I guess for me, my use-case is something super super small, compact, portable than GoPro and Insta 360. This fits the bill but at a heavy sacrifice due to such a design without appropriate cooling. I guess they will improve this in their next device or hopefully a new modular attachment that can cool this Action 2. Though I can only imagine.

I just purchased the device a day back. When i record in 1080 or 4k @24fps, observed screen flickering couple of times in low light. Is it happening in all devices or mine only.
Secondly if I play a clip there is no sound. How do I adjust volume
hello, on the settings you can select the anti-flicker to match your region, or you can set it to auto and test it out.
When doing the playback, there is a speaker icon on the top-right, double check that it's not muted

I was asking you about the iPad Air4 64 GB as being suitable to do postproduction with Insta360 Studio. Does the 64 GB flash have an impact on the workflow? Is there any reason to buy a 256 GB, as long as I´m sure to be able to store my daily project on an external SSD?

How many minutes of 5,7 360 raw material could I store on a 64 GB iPad?
Maybe it went to the spam. You can use the 64GB without any issues, but yeah having an external SSD DRIVE is recommended. Right now I don't have the data of how much you could store on those 64GB, it's a lot of files even at 5.7K but that will depend on the duration as well...

Nice video Mr Otto. Please make a cinematic solo b roll tutorial with action 2. Also please note that, whenever you make any cinematic tutorial video, please make longer length clips because I just love to learn and its easy to learn when the clip is long. Also it help increase the length of the final video which would be great to watch and learn.

thanks for the input Veroica! Will try to do that as suggested, my only concern is that most viewers don't have a lot of patience to watch longer clips of the same, so finding a balance is not so easy.

Hi. It's a regular video mode, but with a time limit. You can set it to 10, 15 or 30 seconds

Yeah, they call it snapshot, and you can customize the button to start a regular video, a quick clip or a hyperlapse
Sure you need to shoot in vertical mode and unlock the orientation

hi, which part exactly? you need to select video mode on your camera. Then at the bottom select the resolution and there you will be able to scroll left and right, at the top select 4K/16:9 and at the bottom select 120

you have a nice budget, I'd look into a mirrorless camera, from Canon or Sony. Highly recommended the A7III, which is a bit older now but still very good, or the Sony 7C. By the end of the year they will have the new A7 IV available for shipping towards the $2.500 range.... hope this helps
Guess what I just found out something with the camera you know if you take the micro SD card out of the bottom part and just put it into our PC or your Apple it'll be really fast to transfer the files I just found this out I can't take the credit for it someone else found out about it

I’d have to take a look at my archived videos because I don’t have this camera anymore, otherwise I’d just tell you what could be different. Settings should be the same everywhere unless you haven’t updated the firmware to the latest version
