    Thanks for the review, definitely on my short list. GSXR has less torque low down and would be back breaking for a long trip. The GSX S 750 is still fast enough.

    • @itskdawgyt

      definitely has more torque down low and i love it for that. hope you enjoyed the vid! ride safe

      You mean "MORE" torque down low?

    • @paulconnell1309
      @paulconnell1309 4 месяца назад

      @@headhunter531 No. The GSX S delivers 81nm at the crank at 9000 rpm. It has been revised to have more low level grunt at the expense of top end HP. The GSXR delivers 86nm at 11,200. The engine is focused in top end HP and does not pull as hard in the mid range. The GSX 8S twin delivers 78 nm at 6,800 rpm with 80% at 4000 rpm and feels quicker and more responsive around town when you are not usually revving the shed out of it. The fours need to drop a gear or pause a second or so to get the same lift. Of course different story from 7,500 rpm. The fours start to really sing and the twin needs an upshift. Depends how you want to ride. Top HP figures do not translate to usable everyday power. The GSXR gets to 60mph in 3.6 seconds, the GSX S750 in 3.1 seconds and the GXS 8S in 3.4 seconds. The little twin beats the Gixxer. Of course things change from there and the GSXR will then walk away from the 8S followed by the S750. Again depends how fast you want to ride.... And yes I know there are other versions of the numbers. The point is top end HP is not everything. Enjoy riding!

    Nice bike, I got mine ( 2020 0Km) last year April. The cheapest in it's own category ( Z900, Mt 09). 112 Hp with 60 Ib-ft Torque is more than enough, you have to take it to 7K Rpm and keep it above that.
    I totally agree about the seat, it is really bad. I got a Air Hawk seat cover, now I can drive for two hours before I stop for a break.
    Puig Touring Windshield 9436H ( 75% wind protection) is what you need for touring with this bike, I added a clip on too, it really good when you are at higher speed on Highways( above 100Km speed), at least 85% wind protection.
    I have plan to change the Handlebar to a touring one, hopefully in month, upright seating position for longer distance riding.
    I have some videos on these upgrades.

      @itskdawgyt  2 года назад +2

      i will have to check those out. i didn’t see how much of a touring machine this thing actually can turn into! i drove around 2k miles on mainly highway and besides the seat i was thoroughly impressed.

    Definitely a fan of these bikes. I was looking hard at these before I got my FZ09. Was looking at the z900 vs GSX s750 vs FZ/MT09 as an upgrade from the FZ07 I had. I really like all 3 and ended up with a super low miles mint blacked out 09 for a killer price but I love the look of the GSX a lot. Been tossing around a matte black 2022 thats near me but not sure I could part ways with my yammie

      @@itskdawgyt I think the middle weight naked category offerings right now are just awesome. Everything from the MT07 to the heavier hitters like the z900/GSX/MT09/xsr/Duke are just great bikes and different enough that most people can find one they like. Love the look of the GSX and love the rev happy 4 cylinder package that it is. With that said I freaking LOVE my FZ09. That triple is just spectacular. Literally a torque monster, it pulls like an absolute freight train. I love the down low grunt since I'm more of a commuter and twisty back roads rider as opposed to freeway pulls. Thing is a savage and I'll have it on the track in a month so I'm stoked. Wishing I could find an 09sp but thats an impossible task. May just end up getting a full suspension kit and aftermarket quick shifter. With what I paid for my bike it'd be cheaper anyway haha

      @@cG-es8mb well the seating position is def a big one for me. the power felt significantly less on the z900rs. and mine wasn't tuned at that time so it still felt faster. the exhaust sound was way better on mine I didn't realize the z900 had a exhaust either. now mod for mod the regular z900 will stomp the gsxs but its 150cc more and they do shine. But bike for bike I can say the gsxs will probably be the better bet its cheaper and definitely has a rare factor to it. hope that helps!

    How any normal human can ride the bike for more than 15 minutes with a knee bend like this. With this kind of sitting posture this bike is practically useless

      it’s not that bad but anything over 100 miles will make you hurt.
