The hardest part of this installation was taking the plastic wrap off the exhaust tip! 😆 Black is the way to go. Looks fantastic!

Great video. Mine was not as easy to install. I had to shimmy it back and forth to get it to go in. For a second I thought it was the wrong size.
Some people cut the pipe shorter and then put the tip on. I don’t recommend doing that because it’s a permanent change to the truck and if you ever need to remove the tip for any reason you can. So basically, you did it the right way
The cracks on the inserts should point downward so moister could drain away. Did it change the sound of the exhaust or cause extra noise?
How do you clean them
Will this fit on a 2016 2.7?

Nah - it’s just a decorative tip, no sound change.
Did putting the tip on change the idle or acceleration sound at all?
No change whatsoever - it’s just an appearance thing.
Does it matter if I put it upside down? I see the drainage hole but I like it the other way
Personal preference - I don’t see any issue besides the drain hole not draining any water that gets in there.
