I have skied for over 45 years, tried Snowboarding about 3 years ago, I am to old to try it again never fell so hard on my butt as when I was snowboarding 🏂 Great video keep being you.
As a high school ski racer this has made me relize how fast people can adapt to learn a new thing like I only took a few lessons and I was off doing free skiing untill this year highschool and coach already is saying I could make varsity next year. It really goes to show how fast humans can pick up on thing.

When i was at keystone this season skiers were gliding across the whole mountain so me as a decent snowboarder wasnt comfertable trying to pass 10 skiers at the same times because they would use the entirety of the slope just to turn
NOW, he's actually steering very well. He knows to point his skis where he wants to go and look that way... good for him. He also seems to know NOT to flail his upper body around, trying to help him turn. THAT is a very good thing. Keeping that upper body quiet is a VERY GOOD THING when skiing. NOW, let's get him balanced. Resting his shins against the FRONT of his boots, and standing up knees to shoulders like he's walking down the street rather than looking like an 80 year old with spina bifida would be a better look and would hurt his legs less by the end of the day. So many beginners cave in the middle over their skis... so wrong for so many reasons. Keep that belly button forward. Unless we are balanced back to front, it will be like we are driving a car from the back seat. We want to be on the front of our boots to be in control. He's muscling through it. His muscles at the end of the day will NOT THANK HIM FOR THIS.
You definitely bring the Nar! I consider myself a much better skier than snowboarder, but I am very angry that you are better at skiing than I am. Going to change my handle to AngrySkier and troll you from now on!
Next, the poles... those pointy ends can take a person's eyes out..... hold the poles in one hand in the middle with the pointy ends ALWAYS towards the snow. Especially coming off a lift, if YOU CARE AT ALL about the person sitting next to you on the lift, you won't risk taking out their ACL with your pole getting stuck behind their knee getting off the lift. To protect your friends, hold your poles in one hand in the middle out front of you coming off the lift.
