well the judges gave is cork 180 a 36, which is a respectable score everything considered. I really liked seeing him get rewarded for clean simplicity and creativity

@@Maghan98 i don't think that any skiers is able to do a cork 1 on such a big jump and with that dipped style of a hall. a 36 is quite low i think. but i suck at freestyle skiing so i don't know how hard any of those tricks really is
When you sign a contract to commentate every snow event for the rest of history make sure you negotiate to be able to keep doing this RUclips stuff too.

I’ve been subbed to steepsteep for about a year now. As a non-skier/snowboarder/skateboarder, I literally think there’s been at least a word I don’t know in every sentence he’s ever said. But I love it. I could listen to this guy talk about literally anything he’s passionate about I think, the energy is what keeps me coming back.
You know what would be cool, if you reacted to the progression of big air tricks or knucklehuck tricks within the last 20 years or the defining moments of the sport that advanced it to where its at now. Also keep up the good work love the commentary videos

Dude, your announcer skills are really getting up there. Keep this up and I think you can announce the x-games or events like it someday. You have the knowledge, the energy, the enthusiasm, and most importantly you are really good at highlighting how difficult these tricks are and the differences between them. Cheers!

@@froznfire9531 I have a feeling that the future lies in the streets, yeah its cool to spin 8 times off a perfectly curated jump, lets see how they do in an urban environment (Im thinking about that clip where a guy sends it off a 2 story balcony with a dub frontflip). The knuckle huck and the stuff that alex hall did is also a pointer to the future I believe, there is more to freestyle skiing than just flying through the air (I know this event is called big air so idk how this event specifically will evolve)
@@ogficht But I guess thats why there are many different events :) Knuckle is for style, BIg Air for those big rotations and slopestyle more of a mix between everything

I am a great skier- basically my whole life. Was even a big mountain instructor. These guys are on another level. I have skied with them- they make it look effortless. They are also nuts and risk injuries everytime they do this.
Skill was crazy there but i wish they gave more score to creativity. Alex hall was my favourite this time.
I fell down a rabbit hole to get here. But I want to say I love the subtle Runescape soundtrack tossed in the vid... Haha. Great vid keep it up!
