I am 60 years old and have owned at least 20 high performance cars including my last car a Evo MR FQ running 520 bhp. I took a Suzuki swift booster jet out for a test drive last week and really enjoyed the car performance it feels so much faster than 140 bhp. I live near you Castle Donington.
Awesome car and great review. I like how you don’t talk like it’s a script, you’ve got a lot of personality in there. Certainly got me considering a swift sport now! 😀
Thanks for the comment! It is scripted but I try to make it as conversational as possible. Like you say, personality is important! Take one for a spin, I'm sure you'll enjoy it 👍
Ray Hunt Found your channel while looking for reviews on the Swift Sport as I was thinking about buying one. Enjoyed your review and it made my mind up to but one. Luckily my local dealer had a very low mileage 2 year old one in Champion Yellow and offered me a great deal, so now the proud owner of a Swift Sport and love it !
Having owed one for two years now I can agree with most comments aired here, but I would say that traction from a stand still is an issue even in the dry if you're accelerating quickly. Im getting an average of 47mpg. Road noise is a bit higher than I would like but I'm used to it. Recommended
We still absolutely love the looks of this car, the carbon really compliments the red colour. Love the red dotted around the interior, just looks like a proper fun car. Great review mate, some nice editing too!
Great review, thanks for that. I have this car in the same red colour (which looks really good IMO), but mine is the 6 speed Auto version, which is available in my country. I've got the *Racechip* ecu tuning upgrade for this, which gives it an extra 30 or so hp and an extra 40 odd torques, or so they claim. Next on the list of to-do's is Tein 30/20mm lower springs, and one of the HKS Hi-Power SPEC-L cat-back exhaust systems for this model, and a K&N air filter element. After that, I'll be pretty much happy as Larry.
Really like the 'SSS' but I do think it's pricey for what it is (even with the discount), and the interior could be better in terms of design and materials.
Interesting. Saw another video saying same power info but 7.3sec 0-62mph (0-100kph) time... I wonder if that's because the Australian/NZ one has a better tune or what's going on there?
Hmm interesting! I took my information from Suzuki's press pack. I'd be surprised if that was wrong, but if somebody benchmarked it at a faster time then I guess it could be!
@@BleeCarswell yeah, I just looked at one today and the salesman said 7 seconds, and then I've seen 2 videos saying 7.3 and yours and another in the UK saying 8 something. I wonder if the 2020 might be a little quicker or something?
Got the older version with "only" 100kW and it hauls pretty nicely, would love some extra torque though! Must try the turbo version to compare to my naturally aspirated engine, I don't mind some turbo lag... =)
Well i got 2020 version but its not the sport its the style. Iam a little older so i dont need to look like iam to race. But my version is pump up to the max. With everything you can wish on the suzuki swift. Also a little sport like a spoiler and front bumper its more sporty but just the look. The price well its high around 25k. Well spend mho.

One of the best reviews I've seen. Job well done.
Thank you! Means a lot 👍
Brilliant review. Very down to earth and informative. Keep it up! 👍
I think that was your best review so far! Just a few minor things kept me away from thinking this is a professional TV car show review!
Thank you! I'm annoyed that I forgot a few bits haha
awesome mate, really informative and entertaining!
Cheers mate!

Wow thats cool to hear! Champion Yellow is an awesome colour. I hope it serves you well mate!
3 yrs later how is this car and do you still have it?
No, I relucklently sold it, we went to an automatic Mazda 3 which is more comfortable and very good on MPG like the Swift.
@@raymondhunt6109 would you recommend getting swift sport now you owned one for 3 years?
Its the best car I have ever had and I have had it for 3 years. In 2 years when warranty runs out I will get the next one. I'm in Australia

It was great fun! Thanks for watching pal :)
Absolut your Best test video, so far. You have made great progress 👍😊

Very entertaining and fast paced review. Very attractive car too.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

Lovely looking car. You’ve sold it to me Blee... x
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching :)
The reason it's loud at higher speeds is also the reason it's light (and also to save money) , minimal sound deadening.
Great thorough review of a great overall car
Thanks for watching!
This is the best review on Suzuki swift. I am really tempted to get one, the only thing that is stopping me is the road noise.
Thanks for watching! Have you been out in one then?
You can get one for 14k currently,a bargain given its abilities and spec list.
If road noise worries you get a camry hybrid whisper quite soft suspension but very boring
Super duper Suzuki and blee bending down the B roads 🏁✔️🌭
Thanks for watching!
The glx turbo has a 9.6 turn circle vs the sport which is 5.1.
great video Blee!
Thanks!

Well presented review . Great car too. I have a swift 1.0 turbo and its a joy to drive too.
Thanks means a lot! Glad you're enjoying your car.
Decent review but is it me or does this swift looks slightly higher like the awd all grip version .....
Nice, great review.👍
Thanks for watching!
Spot on . I love my Swifty 😍
What is the top speed bro
I do love my Alfa, but this looks good, do they do it in white?
Yes they do! I have it in its launch colour champion Yellow!!

just ordered one
Nice! What colour did you go for?
@@BleeCarswell yellow
@@blowitnz Nice! I wanted a yellow one to review haha
Would you recommend this as a first car? x
Hiya, if your budget goes this far and you can insure it then go for it! A non sport model might be a bit more friendly for a first car.

Still got the ZC32S 1.6 Version?

£5000 off now on these at the mo!
Graham Haynes Wow that’s a massive discount!
I thought I'm watching Elon musk!
You'd be amazed how many comments I've had saying similar haha. I don't see it to be honest!
@@BleeCarswell u are like Elon bro. Even voice
Great car. You're hot and the shaved head suits you. Just sayin. Good review.
Thanks for watching! I'll admit thats the first comment of that kind but thank you haha.
@@BleeCarswell No worries! Keep up the good work. 👍
Good review but the car is uglier than a Mini and that's saying something.
Wow, you must really not like the looks of the Swift haha! Thanks for watching.
