- The Nerf Deploy is one of the most complex and complicated to take a part and reassemble. Before you start pulling your hair out (if you haven't already) I will show you how to put it back together again.

Not a word spoken but still one of the most helpful guides.
That spring on the very front was a nightmare. I found one of these in a yard sale that must have been sprayed with WD-40 and snot--it was disgusting inside. So I had to disassemble and wash each part. I took a zillion pictures (and video!) of all the bits when disassembling, but it turns out the front notch that the spring connects to on the light/magazine part that rotates it was broken off, so it wasn't there to photograph. I glued the heck out of it to hopefully keep it in place.
I do wish you'd have done a complete disassembly, as the little fiddly bits in the light/magazine portion are complicated (the breech MUST be fully forward when assembling this, which took some figuring out), but for showing how to get that main front spring on, I am immensely grateful. Thank you.

Thanks for the guide! I found 2 twisted and mangled darts in the pump that caused the blaster to not be able to use magazines.

This gun is an over-engineered piece of garbage thank you so much for this breakdown. My old batteries corroded and got stuck in there and the only way to poke them out was to rip the entire gun in half.
Got an ancient one of these with the same issue. The batteries are finally out, but now I need to work up the nerve to put it back together. It's definitely getting performance mods if I so. No way I'm putting this monstrosity back together for the same weak performance. However, I think the unfolding action is trick. Love it.

One weird thing. How did you take the clip out of the gun while the pump handle is forward???

@@similin4330 It's because the bolt sled keeps the magazine in place.

@rhosexcraziexladie mine was glued in, just put a little force into pulling it out, the plastic on mine was stronger than the glue :)

is it VERY complex because it needs all those springs to switch from flashlight mode to blaster mode???

I removed the stock, rounded off the pump handle by %50 for less bulk, hacked off the handle while locking the mag slot in place.
Way better compact shotgun than the roughcut 2×4
The reason everyone is praising this guy is because they think the FPS they are getting is good. The deploy sucks in the first place, and this brought it to trash, a slight improvement. xD
The deploy is kind of a bad blaster, but it's good for parts and integrations.

Uggg it’s missing steps. I have a spring that popped out. It’s a short one but I cannot find anywhere in this video that shows it. I’ve watched this so many times!

I think mine is modded I got this at the thrift store the spring is not metal it's plastic spring

i'll be trying to use the front end of this and a drain pump to make a nerf sniper that can use magazines
I closed mine up but It seems When folding it up the handle doesn't stay up
where do you get the new spring?
one more thing... the some sort of screw in the trigger handle won't stick
MY deploy's flashlight won't pull down when i press the deploy button help
Why won't my pump go back out to the front to shoot?
I took ours all apart and cleaned it out.. it still doesn't work. and the sliding back part wont go together right.
so...nothing works now. the pump won't move, light won't drop, handle doesn't swing out and stock doesn't deploy
what is the piece that would lock the front piece (with clip-well and light) in the upright ("flashlight") postition?
i have a completely opened deploy and i can't find it in my mass of yellow internals

i followed the mod and it fires but when i press the bottom the back dosent come out...any help
