I have always wanted to go to Perth my whole life I am imagine every single night what it is like it is such a beautiful place in my opinion I am going there from New York to Perth next Sunday I am so ecxited to see the wonderful city and lovely people.

Gosh 2.02 million ? I thought Perth was tiny lol! I need to get out of Melbourne and explore other parts of Straya! I haven't been anywhere other than Sydney airport when I had to get a connecting flight Bahahah. Perth looks pretty though!

Ah, Perth--The San Diego of the Southern Hemisphere--they seem nearly identical! I LOVED living in San Diego! I wish I could say I am still living there (I was conned into moving to Denver), and can't wait for the day when I move back! Anyway, at some point in my life I'm definitely flying my ass out to Western Australia to visit--and possibly move to--Perth! A move out there wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility, considering the direction of how things are going in the United States, although I don't know what Aussies would say--for all I know Australia could be worse (highly, HIGHLY doubtful!). We'll have to see. In any case, from what comparatively little I know, one notable differences between the two cities is Perth's absence of Mexican/Latino influence--as would naturally be expected; meanwhile, San Diego lacks the contrasting European influence that--from what I see in photos...etc. at least--distinguishes Perth. Hmmm, I guess I should also mention the absence of kangaroos and dingoes in San Diego--and vice versa the case for native Southern Californian wildlife within the vicinity of Perth. Perth looks like it may also have a larger downtown area relative to San Diego as well, but I don't know. If anyone reading this has visited both cities, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Yes it does, in certain aspects.
Vancouver is way more spectacular and the people are more progressive. Perth looks pretty on the surface but is too isolated, hot and parochial with limited opportunities. It is predicted to become a quite intolerable place over the next few decades as the globe warms.
