When we moved to the Midwest someone invited us over for chicken and dumplings and they served cut up thick noodles on the chicken mixture. Just goes to show that every section of the country has different names for dishes!
Oh dear friend... I miss your meals so much. A few months ago I had a disturbing doctor's appointment. I had gained 60 lbs. and my blood pressure was through the roof. I've been doing Keto and having great success. I know you have some low carb recipes and I'm slowly learning to turn regular recipes low carb.
Almost the same story here…weight was up and A1c was out of normal range. I’ve drastically cut back carbs, sugar and processed foods and it’s made a huge difference. You’ve got this!!

With triple digit, record-setting heat in Texas for the last two+ months, I used the crockpot once. Way too hot to eat like that and we found we had little interest in eating at all with it so hot. We mostly ate pasta salad and sandwiches. It's been pure misery this summer. We are almost 10 days into September and had our last (for awhile) triple digit heat day yesterday. Thank God! I will probably wait another two to three weeks before starting crock pot cooking again.
I hit like before I started the video because if Julia uploads, I already know it's a great video! I was very correct! I've been student teaching so I come home exhausted and I've been making a ton of your other crockpot recipes to help out. These will be fantastic additions to my weekly menu! You made chicken tinga in the crockpot! We usually use the full can of chipotles in adobo sauce, and four little red tomatoes blended up with the onion and garlic. Then we serve it on tostadas with sour cream on top, and cotija cheese if you’re feeling extra fancy.

Literally love your channel and recipes! I’m getting married soon and my grandmother taught me how to cook since I was a child but she is literally like a master chef in the kitchen and I’m NOT😂 I can cook but I will admit I am low key scared of the stove when it comes to using oil and turning meat over to cook in the oven so thank you for these incredible looking meals and easy ways to make them!!! I grew up in NE and I remember my mother making dumplings from Bisquick
That’s so true! My mom always called this recipe chicken and dumplings too, made with Bisquick🙌🏼
As a New Englander we always had a large box of Bisquick. From pancakes to dumplings to the best coffee cake! Even breading for chicken. Yum.

Literally love your channel and recipes! I’m getting married soon and my grandmother taught me how to cook since I was a child but she is literally like a master chef in the kitchen and I’m NOT😂 I can cook but I will admit I am low key scared of the stove when it comes to using oil and turning meat over to cook in the oven so thank you for these incredible looking meals and easy ways to make them!!! My fiancé is so sweet he would tell me my boxed noodles and spaghetti sauce was the best he’s ever had but I want to impress him😂You should do a cook book, it would most definitely sell!
