What they should do with cheaters is not ban them but put them on a cheaters server so they can play against their own. They would soon realise the error of their ways.
CoD kinda does that with ShadowBans, trouble is they turn off their cheats and get unbanned… It would be great though to see them drop the actual cheaters in and leave them there… Now that would be funny… 🤣
This is good for actual detections. Problem is games that do this tend to shadow ban based on stats, forcing good players into shadow ban lobbies. Cod is the main offender. Bf5 had an interesting thing it did. Where if your stats were too good it would spawn fake players that couldn't be aim locked by software and it would judge your performance against this fake player you could see, but couldn't aim lock if you were cheating. If you couldn't hit the fake players like you were real players it was a detection that was Stat based and not software based. I think this was a good solution. On my yt I have a bf video where this exact thing happens to me. I beam it, it despawns and I never saw another one.
The one game that i think was the greatest game changer in my eyes was Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam, this game should be remade. Im so glad that i experienced the whole history of gaming from Console-PC especially playing games when it was only infected by people having fun....NO cheaters or abusers or indeed anyone wanting to ruin your playtime.

I haven't seen the Turret or Spiderbot ones, those will be worth looking into... The Sticky Grenades they are aware of and already looking into... I've said it in videos before, sometimes these things slip through the QA process, it's not until they release the patch that these things get noticed... Not to mention, what they're testing could have nothing to do with those things, and that's just an effect of a different tweak they made... I'll pass on your issues to Mark and the team, see if they're aware... 😎

There is one player in this game who I reported for cheating and even now a few weeks later is still playing and cheating. If I check his stats on the xdefiant tracker they are through the roof. I keep running into him in virtually every game I play and despite reporting him several times he is still playing. This is now why I have stopped playing. Cannot be doing with cheating scum.

I showed him no mercy when I went back for the revenge kill 😂 he ended up messaging me saying “sorry bro”, I ended up playing with the guy. Turns out he’s a 50-something year old guy with kids and barely gets to play the game. I ended up showing him a few tricks and he went from getting 5 kills a match to 10 kills a match while absolutely carrying the team with objective score and with me being in the 1000-1500 range for objective score. He had over 2000 objective score and was having an absolute blast. I did tell him if he didn’t shoot my body as he t bagged then I wouldn’t have come right back. Something about body shooting pisses me off so much. T bags are just more funny

If you're having some good banter with the enemy, and the team, forging new friendships and having a good time, then that's all that matters... As for the shooting the body, I can see your point, it can be annoying at times... My son loves it, he laughs at how much he must have pissed that player off, if he had to go on to shooting the body after finally landing the kill... 😅

The vast majority of people complaining about cheaters are just bots who can't tell the difference between good players and cheaters. When EAC had a high detection rate many years ago I was in my prime in rust. I'd report every cheater I suspected and keep track of them to see who got banned and who didn't. Over 80% of my reports got banned. The remaining ones were mostly SUPER blatant cheaters who just didn't play enough hours to get banned. When I see people like uap complain about cheating streamers I doubt their ability to tell who's cheating. I don't watch cod streamers specifically so idk about how bad it is for that specific game. But I know the cheating problem in cod is pretty bad from having played it. I even got shadow banned in warzone 1 and got stuck in blatant rage cheat lobbies for the games life cycle. They were pinging people 500m out of LOS. Before the shadow ban and after the games life cycle I still saw super blatant cheaters frequently. Xdefiant, I see so few cheaters. Maybe 1 every 20 games. I doubt anyone complaining about cheaters in xdefiant. Granted I haven't played in 3ish months so maybe it's bad now. THIS IS IMPORTANT, false accusations are the leading cause of creating new cheaters. I have decimated so many people in rust and had them come back later blatantly cheating while they complain about me cheating the whole time. The community needs to be stricter on accusations. Acting like UAPs opinion is important instead of flawed contributes to there being more cheaters. I saw this in rusts life cycle. Losing in rust is crushing, leading to much more frequent hackusations. The rate of cheating in the game now is ridiculous. It's easily 15% of the player base now. When it used to be sub 5%. I have had people report me for cheating in server discords with screenshots that showed them esping, and the guy was such a bot I never would had suspected them for cheating. He became that way because in his mind everyone who killed him was cheating when he was really just trash. I think shotguns are fine in xdef. They aren't usable on every map. The maps where you can camp with it, there aren't enough camp spots for it to matter. You die to it once and then play around it, forcing them to not camp. The map you're on, the best shot gun camping spot is wallbangable (behind the canvas screen) so I clear it before I even know if someone is shotgunning. Under the tower grenades can clear out the shotgun. There is a potted plant you can stand on that makes you hard to see that most fall for. I can usually get 10 kills there before I have rotate out. I prefer to use an smg in that spot, as I can do more prepositions and make the spot last longer by not hard camping one spot and just staying in a general area. I usually get to 20 kills before the nade spam forces me to rotate.
You never actually own any computer software and never have. It's the same with Windows, you don't own it. You buy a license which allows you to run that game. It's always been like that.

Honestly, I don't think so... I mean, you still get software and drivers on disk, with your new parts, but there's no games or anything on disk anymore... I wouldn't necessarily blame PC for it though, fact is people are more into instant gratification these days... Why queue up outside a store for a midnight release of the latest game, only to have to travel home, and wait for the install, before playing... Now, they can pre-install and fire it up as soon as the servers go live... It's not the platform, it's the players... Such a shame really... I like my collection of classics, and I'll still keep buying physical copies while they're available... 😎

cheat streamers..huh...bare in mind, most of them probably play CoD etc, learnt the recoil patterns as well as; and stuff like Cronus cant be used on consoles(i think as theyve banned 3rd party accessories), think ive seen about 5/6 cheaters in XD since launch, compared to CoD thats nothing imo, although it doesnt help there isnt killcams yet dont get me wrong cheating in an mp game is a pretty naff thing to do, but that doesnt mean anyone with a half decent aim is cheating

It's because a lot of players got so used to the SBMM/EOMM rubbish, they can't tell the difference... That said, we're also talking Smurfers in XD Ranked here, there's streamers who have been so blatant it's in their stream title... Also, PlayStation has blocked Cronus, Xbox has yet to catch up, but there's also a version of cheats where you can play on console, through your PC, and have a cheats overlay that's undetectable... Cronus users get around the patch via RemotePlay so it's most dedicated users are still using it on the PS5 @@ScottyMcGaming
