I agree with you about MWIII 23, but it sounds like you didn't like the movement speed from launch on. I personally like how fast we moved until around season 3, when they started adding perks and weapons that dramatically increased the movement speeds. If they didn't introduce the Superi or other weapons with broken amounts of movement and strafe speeds, the game wouldn't feel so gross
@@lalewdzy9726 I'm not saying that. I'm more saying that the Superi began the speed meta being a problem. Nerfing it again doesn't fix the issue, it just makes another weapon rise up. Its more about the new attachments they've added since then and the stacking effects of movement speed perks and attachments. I rather have a movement cap that's, still good, but it doesn't make breaking aim so easy. I still think aim breaking should be a thing, but its too easy at the moment
The 10 attachments system was the singular best thing about Vanguard. But it definitely didn't make sense in a historical shooter. And what bothers me is they will never add it back to a modern game where it does make sense
Dude yes, the sniper nest was way too op for its own good. I just woulda preferred if the Ghosts version would’ve came back, since u had to do the sniping
I didn't like the movement speed in MW3 2023 either, it just led to people bunny hopping and juking all over the place to screw with the hit detection, which was really frustrating in ranked especially. BO6 thankfully feels better despite the movement somehow, just felt like tracking targets and sticking with them was easier, in MW3 the movement was so sharp and abrupt that it almost felt like people were glitching sometimes.
@AidenHoultAllen it got nurfed years ago, used to be 2 shot now its mostly 4 shot now, its relatively balanced but the lack of recoil is still kinda crazy
Thing is, is that coldblooded countered the target finder. I'd put the USMC over the target finder that smg was stronger and more accurate than all the smgs and ARs at every range.
Best pre-crossplay: WW2. Best post-crossplay: Cold War. Both were criminally underrated. CW Ground War especially. It was so damn amazing. The map with the fighting between the ships with all the ways of crossing between and ambushing PT boats? Just phenomenal. Makes me miss the smell of salt and C4. 🤫
Loved using trip mines because most people who play don't pay attention to their surroundings. As for the s mines I would lay down on them and wait for someone to come by thinking they were going to be giving a free T-bag and well you can guess the rest.
I loved having System Hack extre time, extra time & exo suit disabled ❤ In domination was ez and fast to get it. Plus the Drone ai controlled with rockets
The irony of Chaos stating something was too chaotic is not lost upon me lol. Anyways, you should do one on one thing that each COD did that you did not expect. Doesn't have to be relegated to something new or innovative, it could be a change to a weapon, or the spawn system, or a marketing strategy even. It just had to make you say, "I did not see that coming."
I agree with the mw3 23 one, game played so differently from classic cod, which is how these maps should be played. Granted, the maps were still pretty good - skidrow actually worked rlly well on the new movement- but it can never substitute for the mw2 remastered we should’ve got.
The movement hasnt changed as far as running from mw22 to mwiii. The addition of super fast weapons like the superi etc is what makes it feel like that
I’ve said it every since the first time I made a class in cod 4 if the attachments don’t interfere with each other’s location they should be allowed to all be on. I never played waw because of the military duties at the time it was released. Ww2 was cool on a lot of things but just got old after 1 or 2 matches. Vanguard while having really unrealistic attachments for the time period finally listened to many members of the community who have actually built guns with how the gunsmith was done
People that whined about the target finder obviously didn't know about cold blooded. People were so over reliant on the target finder that their reflexes were stunted by their overreliance on seeing the red triangle. Cold-blooded made it so you did not appear on any optics that had a detection feature: target finder, infrared scopes, millimeter scanner, ect. Add on the fact that it also made it so the enemy couldn't see your name when you were in their cross hairs, now you've got a recipe for success.
11:40 I stand by the fact that if Vanguard had made the gunsmith system like it was in Cold War where it was a perk/wildcard, I definitely would’ve enjoyed it more. Don’t get me wrong… running around with 10 attachments is fun, but it feels cheap at times, and it doesn’t make the game as enjoyable than it already was.
these modern games made me appreciate hc a lot more, so not needing stimshots in bo4 hc was a refreshing change compared to everything else in the game
The easiest thing in each COD to fix which would have made the game better but never came, or in the same breathe, one thing in each cod everyone wanted patched but never happened.
I agree with most of your list. However, I cannot agree or disagree with anything you said for any COD games that were after Cold War because Cold War is where I drew the line. I was disappointed with Cold War. Campaign was ok, multiplayer was bugged up at first, challenge progression was broken, and it took months to patch.
