I use Nokia XR20 5G. I am from India, just few days ago i get Android 13 in my Nokia XR20. I just say this is just wow. Pure Stock Android are generally better then Custom UI. I have Vivo Y20G this also get Android 13 but i don't feel that this Vivo is actually running in Android 13 but Nokia will give full of feeling and yes this is called a real Android 13. Love you Nokia

Fully agree with you about the Google search bar. I also hate the way it takes up so much space. A better solution would be to have it as just an icon on the Home Screen that is mandatory and can’t be put in a folder. That I would understand much more. And also the date and weather view is annoying to. With not being able to change those 2 things, it just wastes so much space.
That's why I use the "Launcher 10" app. Android's home screen just doesn't cut it for former Windows Phone users 😂
You can change the color theme of the google bar in the google app, makes it more liveable with colors you actually want
I use the Microsoft launcher it's perfect 👍🏻 Also Abdulla do you have any idea when Nokia X30 will get the update?
I use Nova launcher and I can customize all of that.
I am use lawnchair 12 aplaha 4 . Perfect launcher.

Friend, here's an idea for a video for you: rent an iPhone 14pro and take photos in RAW format, then throw them in lightroom and compare them with Nokia 9 Raw, who has better shadow stretching, check the photos when overexposed and underexposed!
My nokia x10 after android 13 cast screen not working and google lens and some times while using RUclips the screen freeze

Received my update here in the US on Wednesday. I like the updates, however I'm with you on the internet toggle. I prefer two vice having one. Thanks
On Pixel Experience (Android 13 Redmi Note 7) I still have the haptic feedback when going back and I do have seperate toggles for WIFI and Mobile Data to add myself, although I still can't get rid of the search bar on the homescreen, at least on the default launcher
Are there any news regarding Nokia XR30 (I am not sure if it will come out)? X30 and XR20 look really nice already, but I think XR30 would be the ultimate Nokia 😀

Updated my G50 to Android 13, and I like how it gives a smoother experience. And I agree on the internet toggle. As someone who is always outside, and uses mobile data, this one is more of a burden than a feature.
Do Nokia phones have the microphone and camera access toggles?I got a cheap Samsung phone and it only has the microphone toggle

I'm in the US, and just got Android 13 on my Nokia G50 this morning, and it's a big improvement in stability, as I was almost ready to give up, and go back to my Motorola Moto G Power 2020 running Android 11, as Android 12 was so laggy, and caused my phone to be very unresponsive at times when I really needed it, with a few times causing me to have to do a hard reboot to get it back working.
Having said that, I agree the combined Internet setting I don't care for, and I don't care for the themed icons so I have it turned off, but I do like the new emergency SOS features(not sure if it's just a US thing), I just hope it doesn't go off on accident like has been happening on iPhones with their emergency settings 😅
Now I just want Nokia to finally give us a North American release date for the Nokia T21 tablet, as I've really liked my Nokia T20 despite it locking up a few times when sitting idle for a long period on charge(I use my Nokia T20 paired to a bluetooth keyboard, and mouse as my main portable device replacing my aging Lenovo Thinkpads I can't find new batteries for, but otherwise run Solus Linux just fine), and a release date on when the Nokia T20 is getting Android 13 to fix the random idle lockup issues that also sometimes causes a loud looping sound to play depending on what you were last doing.

The Emergency features on Android 13 are available in Europe too, as I have it on my X20 in Portugal.
Google search bar is too annoying and uncomfortable
Hopefully HMD let us hide it.
Bottom google search bar is great, i have launcher 10 on my 2nd phone (mi mix 2s), i put google search bar down, so i can do fast search

Password manager is also performing worse when it comes to auto-fill. Also, the double-tap to light up the locked screen is gone.
Why Nokia still can't center status bar icons with hole punch? Even on G60 with notch they still off center xD
Previous versions of Bing app search bar were able to replace permanent Google search bar on home screen.
But don't know Microsoft removed that feature or Google blocked third party Developers from replacing Google search bar .
Will Nokia 5.3 in Indonesia get update to Android 12? Until now my Nokia 5.3 still running android 11.
do not update it to Android 12 alot of users including mine device got bricked by after the factory reset and HMD hanst resolve the issue yet this was my first and last Nokia never gonna buy anything Nokia ever again

At a glance widget and the search bar is the same even after Android 12 and Android 13 updates which makes the home screen look dated. Wonder why these minute things are still not taken care of.

@@silentreader77 because it isn't on Android 13 (it has Android 12 ) and the update to 13 will take some time...maybe in mid 2023 or late 2023?

Hi Patrick, all they did was reset the phone as far as I know and it fixed it mostly. I would still give it to them just incase.. I also know they are aware of the issue and it should be resolved with an update soon if you can wait
Thank you very much for your fast Message. Was it with them also so that only sometimes this disturbing noise was and not always. I had this disturbing noise also in your videos, a total of about 50% of the videos. I'm glad that probably soon comes an update, maybe android 13 who knows. And i made also a restart and sadly it didn't fixed the update.

We just got it today, and my G10 is definitely smoother even though animations is completely off.
Search bar SUCKS!!
I really hope they fix Google Lens in the next update ASAP. Also, wifi certificates are now compulsory for certain enterprise networks. Selecting 'no CA certificate authentication' is no longer available.
Oh and "double tap to wake" only works if manually disabled and re-enabled after every reboot. Kinda annoying. (Nokia X10)
However, battery life is slightly better and system navigation seems somewhat smoother.
after nokia 5.1+ , still no good nokia phones till now which i can buy.. on other side look on motorala.

Hey abdulaa same as u I am also fan of Nokia phones but as u know there can be only one king of jungle the lion as iPhone in mobile tech companies if nokia wants to regain its era nokia need to understand the chip set always should be top tier not mid range and forget it's moyo sometimes lesser is more
the engine of phone must like formula one car the laxuriness of rolls Royce because the people invest money not how many features they enjoy but more for status symbol which makes people ruch why would people by features which are already available in many companies people will buy nokia for its premium hand feeling and more 3d kind of animation and kind of dslr type more powerful camera .
In passed nokia tried well with nokia 8.1 and 7.1 specially but lesfy behind because low tier chipset and bo difference in os interface no cool animation and no hard level security like pixel M1 or M2 chip
And one more thing responsible for nokia failure is techy peoples on RUclips channels like tachbar mrwhoisthe boss
The techbar guy Mr sanchit he compares nokia 7.1 by its price tag with another but he did not compare the security and privacy of Nokia being Android one the security patches and all those people point negative thing but at same time they should encourage the good thing that was happened with nokia
Nokia may learn from this failure and may focus on its design .animations when switching between apps may invent 3d kind of os n the design of camera module and also night vision camera ..... The nokia 7.1 steel colour was killer

Good but you know how apps are these days. If your processor is slow like in the G21 then battery must still drain. Newer software does not help battery unless the phone specs are above average then you might see an improvement. The G21 is a low end, low speed so it will gradually work itself to obsolescence

ask nokia when they fix the main feature of nokia 8.3 5g - silent sound recording by built-in camera app. It was broken with an update to Android 12, it has not been fixed so far - there are a large number of users on XDA with this problem.
support promised to fix it last summer, but it looks like users of the "video phone" will be left with a non-working camera, since official support has practically ceased. what kind of loyalty can we talk about?

I'm using Android 13 on my XR20. My only complaint is that it's got a bug when you restart the phone, the double tap wake up doesnt work and have to be toggled off then on again.
I guess the "Internet" toggle is already on Android 12 as I've got it on my 8.3, can someone confirm ?
It happened to me on my Nokia X20, but turning it off and on, and then restarting the phone solved it for good.
