Lamborghini introduces the Urus SE, the first plug-in hybrid version of its Super SUV, at the Volkswagen Group Media Night ahead of its public debut at Auto China Beijing 2024. This groundbreaking model boasts a new design, improved aerodynamics, cutting-edge technology, and an 800 CV hybrid powertrain, surpassing the Urus S in various aspects including comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions, and driving pleasure. With both thermal and electric "hearts," it achieves unprecedented torque and power values while reducing emissions by 80%.
Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini Chairman & CEO, remarks on the Urus's transformative impact on the SUV market and the brand's strategic move towards electrification, aligning with the Direzione Cor Tauri strategy. Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Ing. Rouven Mohr, highlights the Urus SE's exceptional driving experience, blending comfort, performance, and fun-to-drive qualities. The hybrid powertrain, combining a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine and an electric motor, delivers optimal output and efficiency, enabling electric 4WD capability and a range of over 60 km in EV mode.
The Urus SE's design emphasizes sportiness and aerodynamic efficiency, featuring a reimagined front section, matrix LED headlights, and a redesigned rear with improved downforce. Enhanced aerodynamics, combined with advanced technical solutions like electric torque vectoring and electronic limited-slip differential, ensure superior driving dynamics across various terrains.
Inside, the cabin reflects Lamborghini's "feel like a pilot" design philosophy, with updated elements and intuitive interfaces. Customization options abound, from alloy wheels to a wide range of color combinations, offering customers unparalleled personalization possibilities.

That's because aerodynamics lend itself to limited designs hence why Tesla's are the best cars ever made. Model X Plaid will demolish this car for 200k less and if you even mention a track this conversation is over, No one is tracking their 350k family suv.
