Just feels amazing hearing the quick shifts from DCT paired with Lamborghini V12, but the aventador will always be a legend with character
This Revuelto looks absolutely awesome. Esthetically it has all the Lamborghini DNA and the details are subtle and beautifully designed (engine bay for instance and rear treatment). As for the engine sound, one would have to hear a Revuelto in the street, on the road or on track (not on video, I’m afraid) to get the full treatment. You chose to share it by starting the engine and revving it in a closed area (pit garage) which resonates unnaturally and does not replicate what one would hear in the open. Nevertheless, does sound great ! No doubt the Revuelto will draw everyone’s attention with very good reason. All the more because its V12 will be this naturally aspirated masterpiece it’s swan song.
Of course but Aventador’s elegance is timeless at this point, SF90 personally looks better tbh

Sounds like a mixture of 6.0 Diablo, lp Murcielago, and Aventador. Sounds great 👍🏾. Although with a more free flowing exhaust this beast would sound even better.

Only thing I would have desired on this is the Aventador's howl. But this car is a fantastic leap over the previous gens. Lamborghini has smashed this one out of the stadium.

I love the exterior, but it’s taking me some time to get used to the interior - the dash and center console don’t flow - I’m sure I’ll get used to it ;)
It looks like you, Throttle House's Thomas, Top Gear, and Rory, and maybe Shmee, all had a video tour day recorded, and the embargo has just been lifted to show footage. Looks so easy to exploit and drive! Looks very fast, if maybe a little heavy.

No it actually is the last V12 in a Lambo, most likely at least.
I don‘t like the sound though, the last great-sounding V12 Lambo is the Murcielago but the Aventador SVJ also sounds absolutely bonkers when it has a Gintank exhaust

Who else wants SF90 VS Revuelto VS 765 Lt Drag Race?
I have mixed feelings about the Revuelto. It looks awesome. However - I don’t like the side intakes or the front headlights design. From a driving perspective - I love that they increased the redline to over 9200 RPM. And the DCT is a welcomed addition to improve the drivability compared to the jerky Aventador single clutch system. I also love the sound in high RPM’s. That extra sound that roars into the top of the RPM range is awesome. Problem is - I think it sound a a little bit different then the Aventador V12. Maybe electric power combined with the dual clutch makes it sound more tame. I think the Aventador (especially Aventador S/SV/SVJ) sounded a little better and more “raw”. I also miss the pops and bangs. Overall I like it a lot, but missing some things from the older Lamborghini platforms that gave the car more soul. Have to see one in person to make final judgements.

It is the complete opposite for me. The front headlights are what I love the most about the Revuelto lol.
The biggest gripe for me is the removal of the analog switches, buttons, and knobs in the cockpit. Everything is controlled through the screen.

Is it just me or are the upshifts a little slow? I mean maybe the gearbox is not in corsa mode but you can clearly see the gap between him pulling the lever and the gear being selected. Of course its still very fast but I think the huracan for example shifts faster.
Miss the single clutch. Makes it sounds brutal
But made it slower. Finally they gave their V12 flagship a proper gearbox
This is the first 'big' Lamborghini that is worth its name and presence that the Countach and Diablo had imo. I loved the baby Lambos e.g. Gallardo and especially Huracan but felt the Aventador and those that followed just werent quite up to snuff if you know what I mean. Love the Revuelto however.

this video was the first one to rev the revuelto.. first to record an angle from the exhausts so that we can listen to the extreme sound of the car.. suprised that none of the big youtubers cared todo so.. they generally talk alot, which I never liked while driving-reviewing such a car..

This is such an interesting case to see how ICE cars are killed. Emission regulations kill one of the last advantages of ICE cars, being weight. Now I know the flagship Lamborghini was never really light, but adding a battery and around 12 electric motors doesnt help. Anyone keen to calculate power-to-weight ratios about the later Aventador models and this one?
The Aventador weighs like 200 kg less than this car.

the Revuelto without the electric motor is probably lighter than the Aventador because the hybrid technology does add a few hundred kilograms, Lamborghini has tried to shade off some weight which make the Revuelto without hybrid system lighter than the Aventador

and the car is limited to 220 mph
It’s not 1000+ hp like a Bugatti Veyron. Think of it more as 800hp + 200hp, where those two power outputs can hit one at a time or at the same time. The electric power is to fill in torque gaps and low end power. Only the 800hp V12 is for top speed for real. With all that weight, 220-225mph is the most id expect from it

If you got a rock in that radiator and blew it while driving, with no cellular reception, no towing, and your friends are driving away and have no support. Stranded in a rally, in the mountains, freezing your balls off, and your girl cussing you out for putting her in this mess, lol. Doesn't matter how much money you have, you will encounter this issue, and sell that p.o.s. the moment you can. Then again, my statement is engrained. "Those front radiators are going to be a problem for customers."
