I'm delighted to hear that, Irena. Using Zoom is a very easy way to get some videos up onto RUclips, and they can relieve you of some of the burden of doing lots of fancy editing. People are so grateful that you've been able to teach them something, or share something valuable with them.
Great, Robert. I’m a big fan of using the easiest available tools, so they don’t get in the way. And although you do want lots of viewers and a polished product, the key thing is the message within the interviews. People are willing to look past issues like poor lighting, as long as the audio is clear enough and the message behind the interview is clear.
It’s a simple way of creating videos, Father. You don’t even have to worry about editing if it’s a chat with someone, or perhaps some liturgy that you want to post. God bless your work.
Using Zoom is a very simple way to build videos for RUclips. Your videos can be unlisted or private, if you don’t want to share them, but then again, you may be able to create videos that will help others who are just behind you.
Thank you. I like the way you pace your teaching for people who are very, very new like me. I uploaded my video along with you. It's my first and I'd like it to be my welcome video. Is there anything else I need to do besides publish it? It is now private.
For a welcome video, you can make it unlisted (so it doesn’t appear in search results). You can set that as a featured video for people who have already subscribed to your channel, and also have that - or another video - for people who haven’t subscribed. Here’s how to do that: support.google.com/youtube/answer/3219384?hl=en
Are there rules about using Zoom recordings to monetize? Does Zoom own rights? Here’s an example: using one (nonprofit) organization’s Zoom account to host and record a meeting and then post the meeting to another non-profit’s RUclips Channel for fundraising via monetization? Assuming that the member of both organizations who made/shared the recording has received the blessing of both organizations?
There are some prerequisites, unfortunately. support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115002595343-Enhancing-your-video-in-Zoom If you still find it worth having the Pro account and those other prerequisites, then when you upload a video to RUclips, it initially will upload as SD, but RUclips Studio shows you the progress till it puts the HD version.
Good question. This is to update the mp4 video, which should include sound. Zoom also saves an audio-only file, in case you want to use that for video editing or for a podcast without video, but you don’t need to use it, if you upload the mp4 video.
Your question inspired me to make a video on how to record on Zoom. In that video, I explain that the audio is already included in the mp4 video recording, although there is a separate audio file which you could use if you want. In case you're interested, here's the video: ruclips.net/video/v3yVx_NGkqI/видео.html Thank you so much for asking your question.
Yes, MotherPat. You can use that recording, or just view it yourself. No need to share it if you don't want to. I sometimes use Zoom just for this purpose, so I can document something I'm doing, just for my own benefit.
Hi Anthony! I love your teaching thank you! How do you add the thumbnail and description/titles? Also, If I wanted to record a seminar thats over an hour-would Zoom be appropriate for that? Thanks kindly mate! Blessings.
@@AnthonyEnglish Hi Anthony, thank you for responding! Ok - 1 - for recordings over an hour, you have to pay for ZOOM. 2- To add thumbnail you create in Canva, then change the thumbnail on RUclips. 3- for text display while playing the video - I upload the video into IMovie, edit (somehow!) and then use that for the video to share with my customers. Do I have that correct Anthony? Thank you kindly, S

@@AnthonyEnglish thanks your prompt response is much appreciated. I have indeed enabled those features and the recording in zoom contains the chat and transcript. When I download the recording, the chat and the transcript are in separate files. But I cannot upload those files to youtube, only the mp4. So I was wondering if there is any way of uploading the chat and transcript files to youtube or using some other method?
@@biswadipdasgupta4204 OK. The chat text? No. You could copy and paste the text into the description, or upload it to Google Drive or some website and include a link to it. As for the captions, you can simply download them from the RUclips video (in RUclips Studio, select the video, then Subtitles), and then Download them. Put in your own transcription from Zoom (you'll probably need to tidy it up first) and then publish that as the subtitles / captions for the video. Can you do a test recording - a meeting just with yourself - and see if it saves sound in a separate file in your Zoom folder on your laptop or PC? It could be that something else - some other app - is using your mic or sound input, or that somehow your Zoom session is on mute.
This could be a few things, but here’s how I’d troubleshoot it: 1. Wait. Once you’ve started the uploading, you can leave your RUclips session, and it should still continue working. Check back in 30 minutes. 2. Create a new tiny test video - just 15 seconds long. Upload it to RUclips and make it unlisted, so no one else sees it. This will prove you’re able to upload. If it works, delete this short video. 3. See if your laptop needs to be rebooted, or if there are other internet problems at your end. Test with other things, apart from this one video that is getting stuck. See how all of that goes, Tina.
Thank you for this- you have no idea how helpful this is 🙂
