Do you have any tips on how to cleanup webcam footage? It often happens to have clear undisturbed audio, while the video lags behind or simply freezes. Anything to detect the freezes and process them? (like extrapolation or just a cut to black to make it less distracting) Thanks for the tutorials :p
So why does my export of a file of a finished cut film take about 1 hour over 6 hours. A few days ago I exported a 3 hour 16 hour long movie. In your video the export runs in time lapse and why I keep getting error "Timed out waiting for client ...." can you help me
I so appreciate your expertise and I would prefer to give you this feedback in DM, but I don't see a way to do that. I just want you to know that for a person who knows how to use Zoom and record a meeting, but does not know a THING about using an editing program your instructions go so fast I don't know how anyone--except a person who already knows how to edit could possible use this video. Very disappointing.
Adding text in Hitfilm is easy, but adding subtitles (such as lyrics) is a real pain in the arse. As far as I know, Hitfilm has no in-built capabilities for handling subtitles properly (if it does then I would REALLY like to know). Your options are to manually edit/animate text layers using keyframes (have a look at this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/pY7tBJ-Wdj8/видео.html&ab_channel=FilmEmpire) or use a different piece of software that does it automatically.
This was useful - thanks! A more in-depth follow-up to this would be very useful too, particularly on any tips to clean up less-than ideal audio and video from recordings. I know you did one already on setting up your own webcam and audio, but it's not my setup that's the problem - the video/audio quality is going to be dependent on my subject's equipment and setup.
Would love a video like this but for Google Meet, since most of the students in my country use Google Meet instead of Zoom.
Thanks. Really useful video
Glad it was helpful!

Can you make a tutorial for Skype, Jitsi Meet and MS Teams, please? Thank you!
Thanks! Can you add pictures or videos on the edit?
Very good thanks.

It doesn't work. Maybe I should try to record meetings using meeting software I actually use...
Super useful.
Glad to hear that!
