This was great Omar! I love Streamyard. I've been able to record 5 podcast episodes this month and I used Streamyard for all of them. I like to record it in Streamyard and then edit the full interview and premiere it on RUclips. Then, I cut up the clips and make shorter videos and clips for Shorts, TikToks and Reels.

Man, I’ve been interviewed on streamyard 4 or 5 times now. Haven’t actually tried running my own live or recorded broadcast on it yet. Might need to finally do that. 👍👍

finally entering into the video podcast game after a year of audio only! 1. do people not need headphones anymore to stop the feedback? 2. a I'll be interviewing non-podcasters - is there mic (from headphones or phone) that people can plug in to guarantee better sound quality? Or can the computer mic still give off a studio quality?

Great info!! I keep hearing other RUclipsrs mention Streamyard and have often meant to look into it. Now, I will for sure. I am wondering if you have tips on recording a video podcast where the host and the guest are in the same room. Specifically with audio. I can record 2 separate files no problem, but there is massive echo from being able to hear each other in each respective audio file.

I do screen recording with a virtual background using zoom due to my limited studio space. I need to step up my quality. I use a zv1 for recording so my camera is decent and yetti . I do screen sharing of my information. What do you recommend as an upgrade for a beginner over zoom. Thanks

However, I'm a little confused: so Should I record the remote interview podcast with Streamyard THEN upload that into Podcastle for processing and distribution? DO I need both or can I use one or the other for both recording and post production/distribution?

Is there a proper alternative to streamyard? I want to keep recording my podcast In HD and streamyard charges 50€ per month for this. Thats more expensive than my adobe subscription for just a recording tool! I know streamyard can do much more but I literally just need something to record everyone in sync without audio drifting that is easy to use for my podcast guests, so they don‘t need to worry about taking care of something.

yea i like streamyard, but its still not high quality. It speeds up your workflow but you sacrifice quality.

1- Can my podcast just be recorded on my phone? I kinda feel like it may not be a podcast if I don’t have the mic or the headphones and such but I can’t afford them right now so I wanted to know.
2-Can it be live or recorded or it doesn’t matter? Is this just my preference?

Zoom has virtual backgrounds, which is massive for anyone who doesn't want their actual background on camera.

Streamyard is great!
you need the professional plan at $49/mo to record in 1080p, like what's shown in the video, yikes. 720p for the $20/mo on the yearly plan mentioned, which isn't acceptable imo.
Can I get away making interviews with free version of streamyard?
$50 a month for the feature to use 1080p is a pretty steep bill if you ask me. You'd think in 2024 we'd have better options, that ought to be a given in this age. We aren't in 4G anymore. I don't get why 1080p is so hard to produce.
What about Riverside?
Any advice for why my Logitech Brio still doesn't look that sharp while recording on StreamYard?

Was okay with things, until the part about Stream Yard only working with Chrome.
So if I wanted to start a broadcast, would I be better off doing it on a separate channel still? I ask because youtube now has the live section on the home page which might solve a lot of issues I have heard from past youtubers and videos. Thoughts?
I put my video podcast on my same channel. For me, running 2 channels as a solo creator would be too much. I turn my normal RUclips videos into podcast episodes and my podcast episodes into RUclips videos. The content stays the same. Not sure if your situation is different but that's how I do it.
