Watch my Fallout New Vegas playthrough from the start: • RTGame Fallout New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas is one of my all time favourite games, and I'm so excited to present the game like this. I've planned my character build in depth with the goal of pushing the power of my build increasingly to its limit as time progresses. The plan is to complete all DLC, and pick up increasingly powerful items and perks that will help us throughout the game.

For the record RT, Ulysses didn't go to the Big MT to find the divide, because he has been to the divide before. In fact he followed the dust storms in the divide to their source at the Big MT, which is just south of the Divide.
He went to Big MT to figure out what was causing the dust storms in the divide. Then from there he met the Think Tank and asked them questions.
I think he said he knew from experience that those storms weren't natural.
Maybe they use the same device, so the storm is could technically be from Big MT, but I don't think they're the same storm.
@@amog8202 I'd have to go read about it or go play Lonesome Road/OWB myself to confirm, which I don't feel like doing. But I'm very confident that Ulysses figured out the storms in the Divide weren't natural, and so he followed the storm to its source, and that's how he found Big MT, along with Elijah and Christine.
At any rate, he didn't go to the Big MT to find the Divide, considering how Ulysses had already been to the Divide and saw the community forming there, the "nation taking its first breath" and then it blew up. Also, the divide isn't a hidden place, it is one of the two routes in and out of the Mojave from California. The Legion and NCR fought a battle to control the Divide and its supply line into the Mojave. So it's not a hidden place.

We NEED a cyberpunk run after this
@@FelidaeEnjoyer really? That game was so boring I wasn't able to play it till the end and watched the endings on youtube
@@invertebrado It slowly fixed itself after release, took until the anime for anyone to realise it and try the game again.
Even then, storys' pretty bare bones, and it's not very cyberpunk. The devs themselves said the DLC is what they intended the game to be like - and the DLC goes harder than a happy day.
Give it another try, and try a meme build. Then you'll enjoy the game. Otherwise, watch a full playthrough. Reactions and commentary boost a games' quality from viewing perspective.
Don't watch mr samuel streamer 2s' one. It's very good, very memey, best I've found - but there's jokey rants at the beginning and he ended the series 10 episodes+ early because of toxic viewers, even missed the perfect ending and went for nomadcore.
Jokey rants being bad because you don't know it's jokey except for every tenth episode where he says it's sarcastic.
I like the ending where you remind the scientists of their humanity and convince them to be better people. I love how many ways there are to end the Big MT storyline.
Honestly Cazadores a lot less threatening with the Heartless perk, it makes you immune to poison which is where most of their damage is from
Old World Blues is probably my favorite DLC by the dialogue alone! The writers and voice actors capture that pulp era sci-fi so well, while also being so tongue-in-cheek against the somberness of the other DLCs and base game. This is what Mothership Zeta should have been!
When being "Brainless", "Spineless", and "Heartless" are benefits! Also references the Wizard of Oz companions: Lion being spineless, Scarecrow brainless, and Tin Man heartless.
Best waifu ain't the Switches, but the Stealth Suit, just make sure you don't get addicted from Med-X. Luckily the Auto-Doc is the best doctor in the Sink the best player housing. Unfortunately can't cure Dan's gambling addiction :(

With a lockpick skill of 75 or higher, you can bypass all the stealth suit tests except the robot shutdown one. You just go up the stairs instead of entering the test area, pick a hard lock, and you'll be in the observation deck above the safe you need to access to beat the test. From there, you simply drop down to the safe and steal the contents!
Went through OWB recently and had 100 lock picking at this point, felt great to bypass that. 😂
Legitimately thought it said Dr. Morbius for a moment. 3:45
My favorite part was when Mobius said “it’s mobing time!” And mobed all over the place
Common Fact: Doctor O is voiced by James Urbaniak, known famously as Rusty Venture from The Venture Bros., along with special Easter eggs accessibly through The Wild Wasteland trait

Fun fact technically while YCS has the most damage of energy weapons Elijah’s advanced LAER is the best energy weapon as has the actual highest dps since dps is measured with an infinite mag they count how many times a weapon fires in a second and counts that as dps and since the Gauss rifle fires quickly but only has 1 shot per mag the actual dps is the damage
LAER
@@headhomegamer6024laser assisted electrical rifle
the ycs's dps is actually significantly worse than the damage, since the reload time ranges from 2.3s to 1.7s depending on your agility and perks. the fallout wiki lists its proper dps as 52.5 to 83.8, though i don't know if that accounts for the added delay from the firing animation
it's definitely more of a burst weapon than a sustained fire weapon. which ... is about as surprising as the sun rising, considering it's an energy sniper rifle
Holorfile is my favourite energy weapon by far. It still packs a punch at the second highest per shot damage of the energy weapons, but is also the highest damage per unit of ammo used, which I found convenient for hardcore. Only downside is it only chambers 4 shots and has to load each cell, but with Rapid Reload and high agility it's a fairly quick process, and can be interrupted at any time to instantly shoot. It's also great at any range, point blank or sniping across large distances with its night vision scope, and that's even with the Fast Shot trait that makes weapons 20% less accurate.
I honestly think of it as just a better YCS. It compares to the YCS for dropping tough enemies at distance, but is much more manageable than the YCS for when a bunch of things get in your face.
@@hi-i-am-atan despite the damage there’s really no reason to use the YCS since it’s just a slightly better Gauss rifle and you lose access to the alien blaster until OWB
I cant believe you killed Gabe. Ok creating the atom bomb changing humanity for ever and threatening all of us with extinction, but Oppenheimer would never hurt a dog
I never played Old World Blues and now I regret it. That intro cutscene _alone_ was fantastic! You can tell the whole team was having a great time making this.

OWB is one of my favourite DLC's of any game ever. So goofy, so much good stuff and Waifu Robot Skintight suit. Whats not to love?
I'm really surprised RT doesn't know about all the tips and tricks for the stealth suit tests. Including how to cheese the document retrieval tests so much, it's hilarious the Devs allowed it. Simple as falling from a higher balcony and straight into the office, ignoring 99% of the actual test. This DLC is great like that.
there's a weapon called Elijahs Advanced LEAR and it has probably the lowest item health in the game.
When using it with Max Charge ammo and the trait Built To Destroy it only lasts 84 shots.
Crazy powerful tho.
this is why jury rigging and having raul or ED-E rocks
For the Sneak test, I believe you only fail if the Robo-brains catch you. If the Turrets catch you, it doesn't count as a loss.
My favorite ending to this DLC was always convincing the Think Tank to help The Courier by doing their sidequests. Feels like I helped them gain a part of humanity they lost due to years of being a brain in a jar.

Something I really appreciate is that it is incredibly easy/neat to see how much RT just enjoys and loves this game. Making an inherently silly build for content, doing silly stuff over the course of the playthrough and he still doesn't speak over important lore tapes and explains who and what is going on with the deeper plot for the game. Like, even with people who like the games they've played countless times you normally have them skipping things or just responding in silly ways to entertain. Just appreciated that he's like "Okay, so we're playing Oppenheimer but also shoosh it is lore time now."
26:25 If I recall correctly, the only other place to get a haircut is Sergio, the barber for the Kings. And *only* if you use your favour from completing G.I. Blues to join the Kings. All this does is get you Sergio's services, and a free Kings outfit.
In comparison, you can also use that favour to call in:
-Free entry to the Strip
-1000 Caps
-Get The King to leverage his influence to get Freesiders to stop harassing NCR squatters (which bloodlessly solves another quest, Kings Gambit, which is part of the NCR main questline)
Being able to go to a barber is a really, REALLY big deal in the wasteland, it seems. The Courier is a straight up fucking King/Queen with the luxuries The Sink provides.

The Think Tank are all so smart, they must surely be watchers of Rick and Morty.
Idk how obvious it is to others cause it took me a while but the scientists at 0:25 are supposed to be the 6 think tank members before they became brain jars. I believe the order from left to right is Dala, 0, Borous, Klein, 8, and Mobius
My first playthrough I thought all the voices were coming out of the front guy.
I vividly remember playing through this dlc. I remember doing all the quests to get the peaceful ending, then once everything was finished I remembered that one of them created Cazador. I walked back in, and killed them all.
Funniest thing about this DLC is that it never a tussle explore the full implications and ramifications of your character not actually ha ING their brain yet still experiencing everything through their body. You can shout "It's for gameplay purposes!" All you like, but it's still weird.
