Devin, how much cycling can you do around Frisco to Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Keyston and Vail using the trails? I love the area after skiing in the winter and would love to spend a week there this summer. My friends are opting for hiking at Estes as they say there is not enough miles using the trails to make it worth the time. The trail maps indeed do not show many miles but I wonder the maps are accurate. What do you think? Can one spend four days cycling the area and get in at least 35 or so miles daily? Thanks in advance!
There are nicely paved bike trails to all the places you mentioned with plenty of beautiful views. I would say 3-4 days of riding would be plenty, lots of grades to climb. If based in Frisco, you could spend a day riding in each direction to each town as it is located pretty centrally.
Can I leave my truck at the CDOT rest area... myself and my family ride down to Frisco or Silverthorne..and then catch an Uber/Lyft back up to pick up my truck? Seems a lot more reasonable than paying $35 a person for a ride up with the bikes from a bike shop.
I went there last summer. It was absolutely amazing! The view was incredible.
Thanks for sharing this. I love this place! Up or down. So fun!
Looks so much fun, can’t wait to do it

Don't see why not, we just rode to the rest area from Breckenridge as that's where we were staying.
OMG, can this guy even try to pedal. Poor cameraman wore out his breaks in the first 2 miles.
First learn how to spell brakes, then criticize
Would you want to ride in a pack with this guy?
