Goodness, Brandon. The feel on all five of these are so chill in your hands. I haven’t picked which to start, but I’ll bring all of them into my practices over time. Great delivery, too; no words … NO WORDS! Thank you!
I love the grooves and even more the restriction to Kick, snare, hat, floor! So tasteful and musical! You are a real artist, drummer, educator, composer, entertainer, media tech and nice human being !
I love these so much!!’ But something else I’m already very interested in is what you did to achieve the cinematic look to this video!!! I’d love a quick short video on the lighting situation you have going on here!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Yoh, that ostinato between the lead and the hi-hat is so nice in groove #2! Quite difficult to wrap my head around. Definitely one I’m gonna need sit down and get comfortable with where the downbeat lands. Really nice grooves mate. Do you start with the ostinato and then build the groove around them or are you so comfortable with these that you can just groove around while keeping them going? High level stuff man
Hey Brandon, these grooves were so tight and sounded so good!! Could you make a video where you go through your thought process on coming up with these kind of grooves and making them different from what's already out there? I ask this because a lot of times I feel like I am playing the same things over and over again and I can't seem to break out from that rhythm and come up with something new and different. Thank you!!
Brandon, this is like on another level. Such feel, such groove. I'd love to learn this, and I will do my best to. I've seen your older videos, you've really come a long way. When will your own Drumeo tutorial be coming up? :) Oh, and I can see your gains! The ZackGrooves photo really helps, huh? :p
I'm a subscriber who's been watching thanks for good content. I'm so curious about the name of the program that drew the score at the beginning of this video. Can you tell me please??
Great stuff, liked 1,2,3 and 5. Sorry groove #4, nothing personal. Nice video and the aproach of practicing technique and making music out of it. Grooves have a bit ZackGrooves vibe to them, great stuff.
I like 1, and 2, but honestly 5 was probably the hardest to get down… the ghost notes are layered under the HH accents so it’s a bit awkward… that one took the longest to get down tbh. 🤣
I need that second groove on spotify ASAP😭🔥
BrandonGrooves
Exactly
And zack does too
Number 2 is definitely my favorite and I can't wait to try and learn it!!
Update? It’s hard innit?

Whomever mixed the drums for this deserves a standing ovation. Killer sound my guy 🤙
All of these grooves are fun and a bit challenging, and I appreciate straightforward, no-bullshit drum tutorials like this. Great work.
I like that Kayne in the end!

Wow you're amazing. And all 5 are 💥💥💥 , but Nr 2 definitely is my fav by far 🤯🤯🤯.
Love that second groove!!
Omg, a f*cking GOLD MINE. I’ve been wanting to learn how to play that 2nd groove ever since I saw the Instagram clip. Thank you for this video!

Sweet grooves man, I also like the slowed down part with the notation. Great content.
number 2 is insane
The 2nd one sounds dope w those ostinatos
The GrooveScribe links are a great touch!
It’s lit as Travis would say
These are gorgeous. I'm going to have to raise my ghost note game before approaching them with any likelihood of success
I think I should loop this and replace lofi music I’m using during the workdays.
Just great - as always.
Missed you bro, thanks for dropping a vid
Nice!! Now, of course, I want to hear all of those groves and music bits grown into full songs. These sound sweet! Smooooooth jazz! :)
Beautiful stuff.. wealth of linear drumming..

Would love to see the transcriptions on the screen next time pls 🙏🏻
Your drum sounds are amazing dude, what mics are those?
Super nice! Is there a chance to get the backing track as well? Then we could try playing along just as you do 😀

Superb!
Who here remembers seeing Brandon building that bassdrum?! 👀
Great stuff, liked 1,2,3 and 5. Sorry groove #4, nothing personal.

Wow, the first one's my favourite, it sounds amazing. I just most likely won't be able to play it, sadly.

3:04 Rosie brings the sunshiiine
wow awesome! where can download the drumless track of these music for practice?
Great content
Holy shit dude❤❤❤
Thanks Brandon!
What is your favorite groove of them?
I like 1, and 2, but honestly 5 was probably the hardest to get down… the ghost notes are layered under the HH accents so it’s a bit awkward… that one took the longest to get down tbh. 🤣
Hey Brandon! You should make a David Dockery drum dub of the mom and dad argument scene from The Incredibles (2004).
