I'm so happy to see the Nuzlocke scene explode since I started watching Ding Dong games in 2019. The creativity in the video is fantastic, and Moxi did a great job in conveying the description of the fights without being overly boring or tedious. Since Pchal's EK video, you can see the evolution in the quality of the Nuzlocke videos on this site, taking similar sound cues, breaking down into chapters, inviting other poketubers and so much more. Congratulations, Moxi. I can't wait to see what you do next. P.S Whacko is so funny for the insistence on rock slide flinching when they were slower.

This video was incredible! It can be hard to get the pacing right between planning/exposition and showing actual run gameplay- and you nailed it, consistently. Fantastic work, I just adore how every chapter outdid the last one. So much effort was clearly put into this, and it pays the hell off! One of the best videos I've seen in 2024
The pacing is something I always feel like I struggle with when writing these scripts, so your comment here makes me feel really good. Thank you so much for watching, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience :)
Bro really hit the ending of chapter 3 with "You activated my trap card," "I knew you would do that," AND "Just as I planned" all at once. That's wild.
I was listening to this in the background while playing a game, but the editing of the encounters and pacing of the video early on drew me in and kept me captivated. Great work, you should be proud
you’re a huge reason I’ve started nuzlocking these rom hacks, thanks for igniting that flame in me! Never underestimate the impact you have on this community.

I’m way too casual to Nuzlocke super hard rom hacks like these so it makes the experience of watching this cinema incredible. Absolutely brilliant video!
Insane video as always, I remember watching the start of the run and seeing you slowly climb up the games fights for months all for the thrill of victory and the video captured the same feelings i had watching you live
the editing was so entertaining and even as a more casual pokemon fan, thanks to the very entertaining skits, I was able to pick up the tension and understand the strategies. Awesome vid!
I love when Chekov's Guns go off silently in the background. You set up making one wish to Jirachi earlier in the video, and even though you didn't say it outright, as soon as I heard the SMRPG music I knew. Your wish was going to be granted.
Feel like I just watched a movie! Great video, my dude! 🥳 Love all the appearances of everyone and the Mr.Pyre spat! I also really appreciate that it didn't start off as a 'perfect' run, and seeing certain Pokemon put in some work.
THE HEIST! That whole sequence was so good… it even made a Claydol look badass. Also big appreciation for all the roguelike background music. While most of us can’t say we have Run and Bun under our belts, we all love cracking a puzzle, and roguelikes with permadeath really scratch that itch.
I'm not super into competitive battle or Pokemon games themselves, but this video was just extremely well put together, not one boring second! You made my evening, thank you!
LOVE to hear this - i know this stuff can get really sweaty, so im always trying to make it an accessible story for those who aren't as into this style of game
PEAK. GAMING. Man, this took a while. The effort and quality are top-notch, though, so it checks out. The anime intro is hilarious, the little infographics on the boss fights are fantastic (I saw that archaludon on bridge rival lmao), and the T&L Heist is, of course, great. Everyone's gotta do some kind of bit for it and I loved yours. The little editing gags got some good laughs out of me, and the voiceover is really well done! That callback to the Beedrill screwup when Pult got crit in the E4 is some great storytelling! Good job on this ridiculous project! Run and Bun is a monster, and you've done your story justice
I love that you really noticed all the little details. The big set pieces are sick no doubt, but theres tons of tiny little things that i always hope somebody will catch. This is really encouraging - thank you, and I'll continue to do my best to keep putting out more like this
first and only video i've seen that makes me feel like run & bun is not as egregious as i made myself believe -- still brutal, yes, but not quite as unfair as i thought (i was poisoned by the reddit post mentioned during roxanne 🚬)... excellent production and editing. congratulations on bringing unique picks into the hall of fame as well. you've earned a sub just for the principle of it, i'd say. on an adjacent note, if anyone knows the music at 1:36:00 or so, i would be in your debt.
Dude yeah this game looks unreal on paper but it gives you the tools you need at just the right times and rewards good decision making. It's far from the kaizo style games that are just hard to be hard. To me, it's a well designed experience that also happens to be hard. thanks for the love!
God the music that plays at the start of chapter 4 sounds so familiar but I can’t place my finger on it. Great video and fantastic editing! Absolutely locked in (ignore when you weren’t lol)
moxi, what I like the most about your runs here is your optimism even when you don't get the best encounter (or the second, third, or four best haha) and you plan on to make the most of them the moment you catch them. I realise this attitude is probably necessary to cope with what these games throw at you but it doesn't make it any less remarkable! big plays
Dude this mindset is what makes nuzlocking magical for me. Some of my now favorite mons are ones I wasn’t a fan of until I was forced to use them in this game and fell in love when they went above and beyond for me
The grueling moments that you had to deal with just to finish the game is absolutely insane. You really earned my support and respect. Congrats Moxi and goodluck to your future plans!!
I was looking through this account expecting you to be another huge Poketuber that I've never watched until now, and I'm baffled that you have less than 20k subs. Everything is AMAZING???? The thumbnail, the editing, the humor, the pacing, it's all perfect. Hoping that you get the sub count you deserve sooner rather than later (that being more subs, in case I'm not clear lol)
So worth turning on notifs. This vid got me thru my rough morning/early noon. But.. we need an entire tracklist of what was used and when. 👀 ESPECIALLY what was used for the Urshifu buildup.
Once again, you and Dr3wster have outdone yourselves, I have been around for a few years watching every video and seeing evolution in both script writing and the editing, I absolutely loved the art direction and style of this piece. Good job guys. You should both be proud of yourselves.
Hi Moxi, I started watching based on your Emerald Kaizo nuzlocke and both that and your Run & Bun videos were highly entertaining. I have tried nuzlocking myself and have seen how difficult the process actually is! Very well done. I your song selection is top tier! Could you tell me what song it was that starts at the May fight in lilycove (57:40)? Your call with Pchal and Whacko was hilarious. 10/10 entertainment. Learned a lot from the video. had to start the show with a BANG
I just commented the same thing
THE HEIST!
That whole sequence was so good… it even made a Claydol look badass.
Also big appreciation for all the roguelike background music. While most of us can’t say we have Run and Bun under our belts, we all love cracking a puzzle, and roguelikes with permadeath really scratch that itch.
Here to claim my 3 crit dodges, pleasure doing business with you
Please note you must redeem your 3 vouchers within the year of 2024. Best of luck with your nuzlocke runs!
I'm not super into competitive battle or Pokemon games themselves, but this video was just extremely well put together, not one boring second! You made my evening, thank you!
LOVE to hear this - i know this stuff can get really sweaty, so im always trying to make it an accessible story for those who aren't as into this style of game
The duality of whacko and pchal was fucking hilarious
Those guys are unreal lmao
@@Moxi cold and calm calculation vs fuck it we ball
Was waiting for this video, was happy to see you beat it and very cool name for a very cool decidueye bring. Goat editing btw.
Dude you popped OFF all run! One of my favorite encounters in any game
PEAK.

100 emoji!
This is iconic. I am so proud of you and all the work that went in to make this happen!
THANK YOU for listening to me yap about this project every single day nonstop for months LMAO
The anime intro is crazy lmao
lmao its funny cause it really do be feelin like an anime opening
first and only video i've seen that makes me feel like run & bun is not as egregious as i made myself believe -- still brutal, yes, but not quite as unfair as i thought (i was poisoned by the reddit post mentioned during roxanne 🚬)... excellent production and editing. congratulations on bringing unique picks into the hall of fame as well. you've earned a sub just for the principle of it, i'd say.
on an adjacent note, if anyone knows the music at 1:36:00 or so, i would be in your debt.
Dude yeah this game looks unreal on paper but it gives you the tools you need at just the right times and rewards good decision making. It's far from the kaizo style games that are just hard to be hard. To me, it's a well designed experience that also happens to be hard. thanks for the love!
god you're so goated
NO U GONGAS
God the music that plays at the start of chapter 4 sounds so familiar but I can’t place my finger on it. Great video and fantastic editing! Absolutely locked in (ignore when you weren’t lol)
ROCK SLIDE FLINCH
you'll love this. whacko unironically hit a few rock slide flinches today on his stream. not even kidding. the GOAT
This was just absolute cinema, the way you presented the fights with the style of the Dark Souls/Elden Ring wiki it was something special
LOVE that you caught the souls influences in it and thanks for watching
this is gaming
HORSE TIME
this is easily in the top 5 youtube videos i've ever seen, it's really awesome to see a video chock full of passion and effort these days.
23:46 unless I'm mistaken doesn't meloetta have 128 sp.atk?
hmm it might be a little off
39:10 wasn't expecting an Elden Ring reference on a nuzlocke video. That made me very happy for some reason
1:00:07 guts and griffith are NOT a great rivalry man
honestly fair LOL
moxi, what I like the most about your runs here is your optimism even when you don't get the best encounter (or the second, third, or four best haha) and you plan on to make the most of them the moment you catch them. I realise this attitude is probably necessary to cope with what these games throw at you but it doesn't make it any less remarkable! big plays
Dude this mindset is what makes nuzlocking magical for me. Some of my now favorite mons are ones I wasn’t a fan of until I was forced to use them in this game and fell in love when they went above and beyond for me
yes chef!!!!!!!
YES CHEF
The grueling moments that you had to deal with just to finish the game is absolutely insane. You really earned my support and respect. Congrats Moxi and goodluck to your future plans!!
Those moments make it all worth it. Thank you ❤️
1:19:51 Dracovish is mid af in VGC lol
it was good once upon a time!
Not even done with the video and you’ve got my sub; your editing and commentary are top notch.
First (POG)
MY GOAT!!!!!!
I'm here enjoying the doc and all the explanation and the story telling, then the addition of MegaMan Starforce 3 music had me even more locked in.
You can thank Drew for that one, he's the edit GOAT

All goat choices! Big ups to him
Yo your narration makes this that much more watchable! Great video!
Thanks :)
enjoyed the video alot. Also was really handy the way you were narrating it all so I could tab out but leave it going
Insane video, truly cinema. Props to your dedication, keep it up. Amazing work!!
Thank you for all the encouragement 🙂I’ll keep trying to make quality videos like this and hopefully the rest will follow
I know it’s been a long time, but congrats man. Glad I got to watch so many attempts, you’re a legend!
This was incredible. Great video and even better run. Good stuff man
thank you zach!
And an Iron Head flinch saves the run......just more proof that we should always listen to Whacko and simply get the flinch. Amazing journey.
as usual ur commitment to nuzlocking and still making videos this entertaining is incredible bro keep it up!
nuzlocking has brought so much jot yo my life, glad i could share that with you
The music, the transitions, the memes. Everything is peak here, carry on.
I'm so looking forward to watching this later tonight. Your EK video was amazing so I know this one probably will be as good, if not even better
Let me know what you think! Tried super hard to top EK with this one
@@Moxi Just finished watching it, and wow what an amazing video!
So worth turning on notifs. This vid got me thru my rough morning/early noon.
But.. we need an entire tracklist of what was used and when. 👀 ESPECIALLY what was used for the Urshifu buildup.
Thank you! I’m working on the track list as we speak, it’ll be a playlist in the description by Monday
Best video yet Mox, the story telling and visuals were incredible. What a run
ty ty im always trying to do something bigger and better with each one
Congrats on the victory! This was a great video!
This is undeniably the best nuzlocke video I've ever watched, congratulations for this achievement and thank you for the awesome content man
this means SO MUCH to me, seriously thank you for hyping me up like this.
It's been less than a week and I have already rewatched this in full 4 times. That's how good this is.
this makes me feel incredible. Cheers!
I absolutely loved this entire movie, thank you for the video and congrats on your win!!
Once again, you and Dr3wster have outdone yourselves, I have been around for a few years watching every video and seeing evolution in both script writing and the editing, I absolutely loved the art direction and style of this piece. Good job guys. You should both be proud of yourselves.
Agg thanks for always being one of the coolest guys in nuzlocke land. I'm glad you enjoyed the experience dude it means a lot that you watched it!
Hi Moxi,
I started watching based on your Emerald Kaizo nuzlocke and both that and your Run & Bun videos were highly entertaining.
Keep up the good work!
Incredible stuff thanks for compiling all of this into an amazing narrative
Glad you enjoyed it thank you!
