    Hi Love, I have 2008 Volvo XC 90 3.2
A warning pops up “ Power System Service Urgent “
My dealer said alternator not charging. On further inspection found alternator free spinning. Suspect Alternator drive pulley free spinning. They advised me, Alternator Drive Gear requires stripping and found Alternator Drive pulley mounting bolt loose. I assumed they fix it but they did not replace any things probably they just tighten the loose things. And they Re-Torqued Alternator Drive Pulley.
They advised me that there will always be possibility that the warning power system Service will pops up again. They just don’t know when. So telling me to better buy a new car as the car I have is 16 years now with 330,000 odometer.

Hey 👋 well sounds like if it is a problem you could just get a new part fitted and will be fine again, I don’t know why they would say to buy a new car 😂 maybe you need to find a new mechanic that will take better care of your car 👍 thanks for watching 😊
