The brigadier was always for me a man you could all trust. He felt like that stable secure rock, when everything else in Doctor Who was mayhem, his stoic attitude helped so much. So glad the brigadier's photo is on the desk. I remember there was a portrait of him on the plane in Death in Heaven with 12 saying "I see you are bringing daddy along too. That's very sweet"
The set looks amazing, I'm glad they took the time to make it. Reminds me of Torchwood's old base. And Jemma is an amazing actress, she plays her role wonderfully !
I just wish we had gotten her sooner. If we had (and let’s face it she probably would’ve accepted no matter how much earlier it was offered) maybe we could’ve gotten her on the Subwave Network in The Stolen Earth
@@DigiRangerScott I suppose it shows the level of respect for Nicholas Courtney that they didn't think to cast a replacement while he was alive. They kept trying to get him back in the revival, but he only managed it once in The Sarah-Jane Adventures.

But I really appreciate the respect she shows for the legacy of her character, here. I think we'll see more from Kate next season, and I'm looking forward to it.
Millie Gibson must hold the record for being the youngest actress to be cast as a Doctor Who companion. She started playing Ruby when she was just 18 and as far as I’m aware all of the past actors who played the companions were at least over the age of 20. Jemma Redgrave is such a treasure. An utterly lovely person and so very talented. She plays Kate so so well, a truly worthy successor to the late, great Nicholas Courtney. I hope she continues to play this character for many years to come.
