Hi Lou and thanks for your comment!
Yes you are correct; material is holding up with no obvious issues. No leaks and house has been cool thus far. Hope it lasts a long time! Are you considering a roof project like this?
      Thanks again for your comment!

Thank you for the 1 year update video. It looks like you used the 4.75 gal. bucket. If it wasn't so much more money would you have put on an additional coat? What if it had been only an extra 200.00 to do 2 complete coats, would you have done it? I'm just wondering what kind of performance increase would be gained by the second coat if any.

Hi @rcrosko7492 and thanks for your question! A second coating would make the silicone a few millimeters thicker (At the end of the first video before the still shots, I peel the silicone off the mixing paddle and you can see the thickness of one coat). It would be hard to measure and quantify the benefits. Perhaps slightly better heat dissipation and longevity? I don't really know. For me, after spending a long day power washing and applying the first coat I was tired. I had run out of daylight and used up exactly one bucket. It was a good stopping point. If my memory serves me correctly, I was planning on doing the second coating the next day anyway. However, upon inspection the following day the coating and coverage looked sufficient. I decided to skip the second application and return the product. If I needed a second coating I could apply it at a future date. But for my needs one coat did the job. I would say money for supplies and my time were not really a factor as my intentions were to improve my roof and make it last another 10+ years no matter the cost. I hope that answers your question. Thanks again and good luck!

Nice the neighbors put torch down over the cap

Hi @happy days and thanks for the question! Yes, very observant. That roof company overlapped over the shared party wall; not really an issue, just not as nice looking. They left some garbage and material up there too (not in the video). Thanks again!

Looks like it’s holding up quite nicely. Did you have any bubbles on the roof?

Hi @eric 4nier and thanks for your question! No bubbling - the silicone adhered to roof very well!

What is the membrane that you went over?
Also, did that area only use 1 5 gallon can of the product?

Hi @shannonlynne1558 and thanks for your question!
I had the roof redone by roofers several years back. I am unsure what roofing membrane brand was used or the composition. It wasnt an upgraded thickness or material.
Yes one 5 gallon bucket was all I used. I was going to do 2 coats, north/south and east/west but after one coat decided it was good enough for my application.
You should also check out the original video where I apply the product. There are many comments there as well; might be helpful.
      Thanks for your question!
