Ok so I've scrubbed my roof twice with rubber roof RV cleaner applied the flashing. It has set for several hours and I checked on it and it will literally peel off in a sheet of rubber. It did not stick to the roof or the lap sealant whatsoever. What did I do wrong and what do I do now?
I called you guys, im interested in your silicone roof coating for a 5v metal roof 22x20. The metal roof screws with the rubber washers are all installed. The grade of the roof is 2/12 pitch. Do I need to do any seam work with tape or does the roof coating suffice completely on its own? What about any surface corrosion where the metal is not penetrated and is structurally intact?
How did you apply the coating on the rounded sides of the roof? Is it thick enough that it doesn’t run down the sides of the RV? Also, is the flashing necessary? Could I just use the roof coating around the AC units etc.? Thanks in advance for your quick response. I’m about to get started on mine in a couple of days.
It's thick enough that you can put two light coats over the sides and it won't run. You just have to be careful. Yes, we always suggest that you utilize flashing on all seams before the top coat.
Hi Jim! If you're going to apply to coats, we recommend a full cure on the first. This will avoid you pulling the sarface layer skin back when applying the second coat.
Thank you for the information and the review. One comment though - I'm trying to listen to your commentary and it is either drowned out by the music you inserted into the video or distracts completely. Please don't add music when you're making your commentary in the edit. Thanks!

Never heard of that? We have installed many and never had any form of negative reaction.
