Interesting video. As someone has already pointed out springers shoot best rested in the hand then your hand on the rest. I can almost guarantee your flyers are caused by the rifle bouncing in the rest causing inconsistent recoil pattern.
Sorry but that's absolute rubbish...you can't guarantee anything! The pellets were straight out of the tin, not weighed and could have been slightly deformed when loading. The wind was erratic pushing the pellets left and right and the rifle wasn't locked into a rest meaning that any slight deviation in movement, even a thousandth of a millimeter over that distance could send the shot off. Remember the targets are set at 30m. A flyer can occur just the same with a PCP. That said thanks for watching and all the best

Weihrauch has always been my favorite and will always be. The HW100/110 and AirArms 400 seies are in my opinion the best full stock PCP's on the market. I own also almost all HW springer modells and that's for a reason. Just the cocking noise tells me enough.. Thanks for showing mate, enjoyed every second. 👍
I have to agree with your comments about Weihrauchs, although I'm not a fan of the HW110. Found it annoying when loading and its balance wasn't the same as the HW100 which in my mind is far superior. I had an LGV and couldn't miss with it, if it's not producing the goods it's definitely not the gun. Should just get JSB exacts and it'll be grouping really tight. To be honest I think all airguns are accurate just some are easier to be consistent with. I was getting good groups with my girlfriend's Gamo Barricade but it kicked like a mule and was just horrible to shoot really, don't know why Americans rate Gamo, they make some nice pistols but all their air rifles I've tried have just been horrible.
Hello my friend, I'm no one to point the finger. That was a great watch and I see someone has mentioned keeping hold of the underlever. The LGV is a great rifle one of my favourites along with the HW95 &97 as well as the Tx200 and prosport, but for an experienced shooter I was concerned to see you take the safety off while the rifles were pointed skywards, then settling down to take your shot, surely you should have your sight picture before you take the safety off, and as others have said, you will get less flyer's if you support the rifle in your hand, it reduces springer bounce immensely.
Hi @jasoncurtis-cookiedude8540...totally accept your point about safety and for my next videos will make a point of doing it by the book so I do not adversely influence a newbie! Have to admit and I've made this same point on another similar comment. My nearest neighbour in the direction I'm shooting is over one and half miles away and the land behind the target, the paddock is mine, so even if I was to accidentally discharge the air rifle at 45 degrees, the pellet wouldn't escape my property. Regards springer bounce, I've answered that in my latest video. All the best and apologies for the late reply.
the HW 98 has been well proven over time too , this the problem bro many good rifles about today hardly fair to just pick three or four and make any claims based on those alone almost pointless i guess still an interesting watch though.
OK...I've never shot a Century and can only go by my experience of shooting the LGV. I guess you get good and not so good in all makes. All the best and apologies for the delayed reply.
Mark- please consider your safety use by turning to 'fire' only when ready to shoot rather than straight after loading when the muzzle is in the air. Your demonstration is not the best safety by swinging through a downward arc to the bench rest then finely adjusted to the target.
With an LGV competition ultra, I have found it best to use a vanguard Porta-Aim tripod with my left hand under the stock at my shoulder. Any restriction to the movement during shooting kills the accuracy.
It's all exempt HW100 cheap RUBBISH not top 5. Top 5 could be Steyr Challenge, WaltherLG400, Air Arms TXi-50, Anschutz 9015, FWB 800 . But Anschutz alone cost more than those 5 scrap Turkish and Chinese airguns 😆 HW100 is good, but definitely not one of the best. Remington springer is low quality Chinese airgun, HW77 is designed to shot with open sights and proper version of this rifle with cheekpiece designed for the scope is HW97. Walther LGV is worst than top underlever from Walther model LGU. The best existing springer Air Arms tx 200 isn't even here 😄
But you have to remember that price point is a major factor and will skew results in favour of a cheaper rifle if there are only a few millimetres difference in accuracy results.
This kind of "testing" is not correct. You can't just ignore three wild shots and call them flyers. If you only count good shots then every gun is accurate.
Had my walther rotex uc for 3 years now done me good and had my walther century for long time and it is brilliant. Nice video big man wanted a underlever for collection I think I might buy warhawk cheap and accurate I am impressed might buy one and change spring and tune her a bit. 😮

Their own. That way they can control quality better. All the best.
@@theGunLocker Do you know it it's possible to fit a Weihrauch barrel to a BSA Lightning break barrel rifle?
I’ve never seen anyone shoot a springer like this before. You need to put weight on the front of the stock and preferably use a bean bag.
Thanks for the advice but after shooting this way for over 40 years, I'm happy with my technique
The best existing springer Air Arms tx 200 isn't even here 😄
If you took the time to watch the intro you'll have seen that this selection is from the rifles I reviewed this last year...
HW100 all the way
Not very consistent in your marking. The HW100T you tested blew this away and you scored it lower.
But you have to remember that price point is a major factor and will skew results in favour of a cheaper rifle if there are only a few millimetres difference in accuracy results.
Where are you based?
Why do you ask?
How come tx or pro sport not in the running when they are two top rifles.shame😂😂
Take the time to watch the intro and you'll figure it out
This kind of "testing" is not correct. You can't just ignore three wild shots and call them flyers. If you only count good shots then every gun is accurate.
Great video but please, do you really need to keep repeating what target you’re shooting at when it’s obvious. I found it quite annoying.
So I won’t be getting an FX BIATHLON then…🤦♂️
I believe Andy at AA Gun Locker in Stafford may have one
@@theGunLocker no thanks, I’ll stick with my Ultimate Sporter 👌🏼
@@noelwallace5257 Right, 💯👍
The Kervan "PING"! awful. No use for pest control or garden plinking, everything in the postcode knows. Turkish guns are cheap but quality?
Had my walther rotex uc for 3 years now done me good and had my walther century for long time and it is brilliant. Nice video big man wanted a underlever for collection I think I might buy warhawk cheap and accurate I am impressed might buy one and change spring and tune her a bit. 😮
