Hi, Thanks for the amazing preset. When i copy paste my paths to the 'Master Group' (2.33), it pastes the path outside and not inside the Master Groups. What am i missing? I am using After Effects 2020. Thaks.
I didn't found a single stroke font. How you did that? I tried on illustrator to create a path for each letter, but for the T, for example, when it has to be separated paths and it doesn't look good. Am I doing it right?
Hey Gabriel! Sorry you're having issues, but I'm not fully sure I understand what you're having a problem with. By a single stroke font, do you mean one that uses a single width throughout? For my example with the "Tapered Stroke" text, I just traced a font I found online in Illustrator so that it was all paths I could then animate with the preset. If you're still having trouble, could you try posting a link to a screenshot so I can see what you're seeing?
How do you actually let the stroke to track the texts themselves? I mean, my strokes would only track the outline of texts, so then the final texts appear to be hollow. It's beautiful, but emmm.... It's not what I want.
@@Dejiko12 Yeah he says in the start of the video that he traced them himself, meaning he actually went with pen tool over the spines of the letters. 1:50
Alejandro Tbn bro I think you need to study a little more after effects before asking questions, it looks like you're are trying to create something without learning only by taking a preset and using it....these are paths created in after effects, a png is clearly not a path.

You don't need this preset anymore if you have after effects 2020 since it comes natively now.

Is there a way to have a gradient on the stroke? Cause I can't seem to get one to work.
stroke looks a bit blocky, any ideas?
there's a random line going through the middle of the comp whenever i use this preset and i can't figure out how to make it go away

Does it work with a psd? or a png image text? why and why not?
Actually it only works with shape layers, not media assets. So, no it wouldn't work with a PSD or PNG.

Your vector layer is selected right?
School of Motion yes. In illustration is a standard text level with some words written.

right click on text in illustrator ----- click on create outline from text

Select the path name in the drop-down menu and click command+c to copy and command+V to paste.
